⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS) My family and I highly recommend this digital photo frame for a variety of reasons but mainly because of its simple design. The frame itself is fully intact when delivered. Meaning, there aren’t any tiny pieces you’ll have to join together to build. The connection and setup is basic and is all completed once you follow the connection prompts automatically displayed on the screen of the photo frame when the device is initially plugged into a power source. Once connected to WiFi you’ll need to download the Nixplay app and create an account which will allow you to link your newly created account to the desired frame. Once fully connected and linked the uploading of photos is as easy and basic as can be. The app will ask you to allow access to your photos on your cell phone and once this access is allowed you simply select the photos you wish to display and select the ‘upload’ button. This basically is confirming all of the photos you’ve designated from your camera roll will be uploaded via WiFi connection to your new photo frame. All newly uploaded pictures are added to the rotation along with all of the previous uploaded pictures. The app allows you to set the speed of the picture rotation and also gives the option to display the date and time at the bottom of the screen to be displayed at all times while all of the pictures filters through. The frame is pretty pricy and is definitely not inexpensive for a photo picture frame but my family has grown to love watching it! My family and I find ourselves watching the frame cycle through all of the pictures sometimes even more intently than watching a TV program. My mother has this frame in her living room and all of my siblings downloaded the Nixplay app and logged in to her account allowing each of us to individually add photos to her frame and update & add content periodically. Our mom is pleasantly surprised when she spots a newly added picture and it puts a smile on her face! I ended up ordering a frame for myself and simply added the serial number of the new frame to my mom’s existing account. Her app now displays two frame icons when opening the app so make sure to select which frame, or both, you wish to add your pictures to. Also, setting up our frames this way allows everyone access to add pictures to my frame as well.

As a hobbyist photographer, and a grandfather of two, I take a lot of photos. It's nice to have a simple and easy way to display these photos without printing them. I have always been a fan of the Nixplay frames, and their user friendly mobile app. My wife and I purchased one for each or our mothers, and have them set up so that our siblings can upload photos to their respective frames whenever they want. With relatives in Georgia, Texas and Vermont, photos can be easily uploaded and displayed so that our mothers don't miss out of these moments of life. The frames easily connect to available wifi, and can set up and ready to use within minutes of opening the box. These are a great way to share moments and memories in the 21st century digital world we live in.

I purchased this for 60+ yr. old mom as a Mother's Day gift. I was really impressed with the overall picture quality and the device's ability to flip pictures correctly. Set up was pretty painless and the remote was a great added bonus. Parents aren't very tech savy, but Dad likes to tinker with new things, so he's excited to send Mom random pictures via the frame. There is an app and website. Both allow you to upload pictures and create new slide shows and albums. All the kids and grandkids have downloaded the app and were added as "friends" so they can send pictures to the frame. Though, I'm still not sure if I/parents will have to manually add them to the slideshow. I set this frame up before gifting so it would have some pictures pre-loaded and would be easier to use. I used the website to upload the pictures thinking it would be much faster. My only real complaint is the amount of time it took for the pictures to appear on the frame. I pre-loaded about 147 pictures and it took the frame a little over an hour to receive them. I purchased another similar frame by a different company for the in-laws and that one was MUCH faster at uploading the pictures. About 197 pictures in about 15 minutes. The other frame had a lot of extra options that i knew my mother-in-law would enjoy and use--like music, weather, podcasts, etc. There is no USB option for this frame, so everything must be done over wi-fi. It even plays videos! Overall, I am impressed with the ease of use and display. I wish it included a few more options and was a little faster with the upload, but Mom was super impressed with this gift, especially since she can get photos sent over from anywhere the kids and grandkids are.

I bought this digital frame for my friend as a Christmas gift and it do not disappoint! Connection it to your WiFi at home, download the Nixplay app, create a Nixplay account and start adding photos right away. Picture quality is excellent. Screen size is perfect for a night stand or end table. You can set auto on/off times and it will automatically come on when it sensed someone enter the room. You can set it up in portrait or landscape. My non-techy friend is having a blast adding pictures to her new frame. I’d definitely purchase again!
