I've only been playing pickleball for a little over a month and started with a Franklin Dagger from the local big box store. It worked but it's not amazing. One of my friends has been letting me borrow their Monarch Duchess and Onnix Z5 paddles when we play. These paddles have a very similar grit to the Z5 and feel very similar to both of the more expensive paddles except the grips fit my hands a little better. Friends with better paddles have been borrowing my spare paddle when we play and love it so I'm confident I'll get a lot of use out of this set. The balls are your standard cheap pickleballs and the indoors balls are actually pretty nice to play with outside. The bag is nothing to write home about but it holds 4 paddles without balls or two paddles and 4 balls pretty easily. My only complaint with the bag is there's no water bottle pocket but for the price it's a great way to keep a couple paddles and balls ready to go. ... show more
