We drain it at least once a month (even with the cover) and clean it because it's under a lot of trees but it's perfect for our dog to play in the backyard. I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter. Absolutely love it. I keep it up for a few days covered with a cover. Doesn't lose water. Stays clean. Very sturdy. I drained it today for yard work. I bought this for my a neighbor family. They have three kids. The construction is nice. The quality is good. It's really good. I put some old carpet down underneath of it cuz it's on pavement. Good value for the price but bottom is thin and got a hole quickly even with a tarp over grass. I was able to patch the hole easily. The size is great for two kids 4 and 6 to play and "swim" around. My German Shepherd loves this pool. It makes summer time a lot more fun, and bath time a lot easier. The quality has held up to his “scratching the water” obsession, and that’s really all I was hoping for. It’s easy to drain, and easy to fold up and move.

sturdy and works well for our corgi and dachshund mix dogs. If filled to top they can stand tippy toe and I can get them to swim if holding them as I use it to exercise them. The walls are very sturdy and stand upright even if not filled, which makes it easier to handle. Filled and dumped it now several times. One of the dogs jumps out of it. They don't splash wildly though as they don't 'play' with it and I always supervise them when using it. ... show more

Not Built for Large Dogs – Lasted 10 Minutes I purchased the 6XL (97” x 16”) pool specifically for my 2-year-old Labrador, expecting it to hold up to normal play from a large dog. Unfortunately, this pool was a complete disappointment. Within 10 minutes of my Lab getting in and playing, the pool was destroyed. Multiple panels cracked and broke apart, causing the entire structure to collapse. The attached photos show the aftermath. My dog wasn’t doing anything excessive—just typical Labrador behavior: splashing, turning around, and playing in the water. The product description and photos make it appear suitable for dogs, but based on my experience, this pool seems designed for small dogs only. If you have a medium or large breed, especially an active one, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. For nearly $80, I expected significantly better durability and quality. The materials simply could not withstand basic use by a large dog. I seriously question the value of this product and whether it was ever tested with larger breeds. Pros: * Easy to set up * Good size Cons: * Extremely poor durability * Collapsed after 10 minutes of use * Plastic panels cracked and failed * Not suitable for large dogs despite marketing suggesting otherwise * Poor value for the price I rarely leave negative reviews, but this product failed almost immediately.
