The futon mattress, arms and frame come in 3 separate boxes. It states that in the description however I missed that. Fortunately they all arrived within a couple days of each other. The instructions were excellent as they were accurate, complete and all the parts were included. I appreciated the packaging as they even put the hardware in little bags and stapled a string to them and to the inside of the box so as not to lose them or accidentally throw them away with the box. Make sure you measure your doorways, thank goodness we did, we were able to put together the frames in the living room and carried them into the other room separately and attached the arms inside the room. It is a two person job to get it all put together. Mattress quality is very good and really comfortable and thick at 8 inches. I chose to get the full size microfiber cover futon for my office and had measured it beforehand to make sure it would fit, and it does perfectly. It took almost a week between when I got the first and last package, which was 3 separate boxes: the arms, the futon body, and the futon mattress. It was easy to put together with the exception of getting the body frame onto the tracks of the arms. Pay attention to the instructions when they say to keep the arms loosely attached and it’ll make it easier, but having 2 people will help a lot. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is I reached out to the seller for an update on the mattress tracking number and they said they would send it but never did. I had fedex delivery manager set up though so I knew when it was coming once it was in transit. Once it’s all put together it’s very comfortable. I only let the mattress sit for about 15 minutes before throwing it on. No issues with switching it to bed mode, but it’ll take 2 to change it back since it helps to have someone push it from the back while you lift the seat back up. Keep in mind I found who the futon seller is since it’s custom made (Royal Sleep in Ft Worth Texas) and all of their products have a 10 year warranty. Don’t know if DCG stores warranties the frame but I’d hope they do if there’s ever an issue with it. Overall for about $500 it’s very nice and way better than what you would get from IKEA at this price. ... show more

We removed our old l-shaped couch from our RV because the faux leather was just coming off in small pieces everywhere. We looked at all types of replacement RV couches and recliners everywhere. After removing our old set and based on the fact that we had 80" of room, we finally decided that the Stanford set sold by DCG stores would fit our needs. After placing my order thru Amazon, several days later I contacted Amazon with a request to upgrade the mattress. Amazon contacted the vendor and relayed our request. Allana with DCG stores contacted me and explained the differences in materials, athesitics and details about the construction. We decided on the upgrade after working with her. What a wonderful knowledgeable person she is to work with. Well since this went down without a hitch, everything arrived in about 4 or 5 days. The mattress came first. We waited until we assembled the frame (about 2-hours) which wasn't hard at all and then unpacked the mattress. Instructions say to let it sit for about 48 hours. Within 3 or 4 hours it looks fantastic. The frame is assembled except we haven't attached to the arms as we have to move them into the RV to do that for easier installation. We will install tomorrow morning. We are so excited for this alternative setup since the couch we had from day one was never comfortable as a lot of RV furniture generally is not. Another issue we were concerned about was overall weight. This option is heavy, but not as heavy as trying to fit a 3 seat theater type recliner/couch. We believe that is a cheaper option that looks great and will serve our needs for watching tv or taking a quick nap. Definite upgrade for our RV. Can't praise the DCG folks enough for the reasonably priced and quality pieces that we purchased on Amazon. ... show more
