Assembling it took a while but it's great
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Queen
It took a little more time to assemble than other futon sofas I've bought over the years, but we're ultimately pretty satisfied, regardless. It's sturdy, comfortable, and looks great.

Nice quality
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Full
Very heavy. The wood is very nice quality. A little difficult to put together for a senior woman. I found the mattress seems too large, although it’s pretty comfortable to sit on. Haven’t slept on it so can’t tell you about that. Purchased for an occasional overnight guest. Once the bed is layed flat, very difficult to raise to sofa position. You almost have to remove the mattress to set it as a couch. Overall we are happy with the purchase. A good value for the money.

Very good product, Excellent finish!
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Full
This is a very good Futon. Quick delivery(took 5 days from order, came as two package). Took two people 90mins to assemble. Very good instruction manual (no confusion). Some parts pre assembled. Mattress is okay, but mattress cover is not great(hence 4 star). I have to buy a new cover. Overall happy with product, looks very sturdy. Very easy to operate too.. Goos size , can easily seat 3, when open fully very good for sleep.

Awesome futon!
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Queen
This is the most comfortable futon I have ever slept on. It was easy to put together, and the mattress is very thick. I would definitely recommend this futon. Even though it is a little pricier than most, it comes in a queen size, is very sturdy, and worth it! The mattress and box spring ship separately, but we received ours one day apart.

Listen to the reviews about the Mattress, it smells like paint - buy a mattress separately
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Queen
TLDR: This is a good futon frame. If there is a way to get the frame and buy a mattress separately do that. The smell is really bad. My husband has bad allergies, and very bad sense of smell and he can smell the paint smell on the futon. My main issue with this futon is the mattress. It smells so strongly of paint the room is unusable. Its like when you paint a room and are waiting for the paint to dry, except there is no paint, and the smell permeates the whole room. We have had the window in the room open for more than 24 hours, with a dyson air purifier and fan running in the room and it still smells strongly of paint. Unfortunately the smell of the futon mattress is so bad it renders the rest of the futon unusable. In addition the mattress has these unappealing white stitches that look like they should have buttons on them but don't...you can't see that the mattress has those from the photos, but that is what is causing the dimpling look. Its odd they wouldn't have made those red. I have contacted the seller, and am hoping they can either assist with removing the smell, or offer a way that we can get a new mattress or a refund for just the mattress. The futon itself is sturdy and well constructed. I was happy with the size, wood quality, and its really very nice. The only call out I have about the construction is that the additional legs for when the Futon is in the 'bed' position on the queen version of this futon are not very sturdy. They are not secured with any kind of nut, it' just one long screw that sticks out of them and they are supposed to swing in and out.

It's very comfortable!
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Queen
We're using this Queen futon with 8" burgundy mattress in our office/guest room; our son who slept on it thought it was quite comfortable. It is big! Queen size has a high back when in sofa position, but it is quite comfortable to sit on in this position, too. The mattress doesn't slip when in sofa position, and the two little back legs give support to the Q bed position. There was a slight flaw in the mattress initially, but the company was very responsive, sent us a new mattress, and didn't require us to return the old one, so we donated it. One person (husband) put the frame together, mostly, occasionally requiring the help of the second person (me). It takes two of us to change positions - sofa to bed and back again - but that was true of our last (full-size) futon. Over all, we are quite pleased with our purchase and highly recommend it and the courteous and helpful company that made it .

Disappointing
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Full
The futon frame, with the included mattress, is exceedingly difficult to put down or up - it's almost a two person job. It might work better with a thinner/lighter mattress. Also, the mattress compresses way too much under weight. Sitting on it crushes it down to only a couple inches of thickness (note: I weigh 175 lbs., this is not a weight thing). It would probably be OK to sleep on, with more even weight distribution. On the positive side it is well constructed and looks great. However I would not recommend this product, I am quite disappointed with it overall.

Not easy to maneuver
Color: Twill Burgundy Cover
Size: Queen
The frame arrived much earlier than expected which was fine, but caused some confusion with the delivery of the mattress. I got an email asking to review this product when I hadn't received the complete set yet, which was a bit perplexing. As far as the frame, it is very nice quality material and I assembled it myself. There were a couple minor setbacks with the assembly, but I figured it all out in the end. It took one adult about 3 hours to assemble. When the mattress finally arrived today, it looks nice and comfy, but it's very heavy and hard to move onto the frame. With me being a female, I need another adult to help me. Once I got it on, I found it was impossible to switch the futon from flat to a couch with the mattress on. It is far too heavy to lift one end of the frame while the mattress is on it. So I reluctantly slid the mattress off, moved the frame to the couch position and tried to put the mattress back on, but it's so thick it will not fold into couch position. After a good workout, lots of sweat and frustration, I gave up until I can get another adult over to help me. Since I am the only adult in my home, this may end up being a problem every time I want to switch positions with this futon. This is my first day of using it and things may improve once I get some help with it, but for now I'm a bit discouraged.
