COVID-19 begins Me: How's everything? Can I swing by to grab my switch? Bandmate: I tested positive for COVID-19 :( Me: Looks like you just bought a switch then! So that happened, and I ended up buying a Lite (because the regular switch is just too hard to find now) to get some gaming time in. It feels way more durable with the embedded joy cons than the regular Switch with detatchable joy cons did when playing in portable mode (I swear I thought I was going to snap both off when playing Smash Bros on the go!). The screen is slightly smaller, and there's no way to output to a TV, but it's still a terrific system and a very much needed little distraction right now. Note that since it doesn't support TV mode, there may be a few games that won't work on it, so check which modes the game supports before buying. Battery life isn't the greatest - depending on the game I could get 6 hours (West of Loathing) or 2-3 (Zelda) on a single charge. Strangely, mine came with power adapters for various countries, so perhaps it's an international SKU? I didn't check, but that's my best guess. The turquoise wasn't my first choice in color, but since at the time Yellow was out of stock, I bought this color and now am glad I did. I think the yellow would've been too distracting and bright to me. The turquoise is pleasant and brings calm when I play.

It came much earlier than expected, especially given how hard it is to find them. I’ve been toying with it all day, and I am definitely impressed. I’ve owned nearly every Nintendo console, and I would definitely put it up there with my favorites. The Lite is perfect for gaming on the go or entertainment at home. I’m always wary of buying consoles on line (got a wonky PS4 a few years ago), but I tested two games with no issues. Image quality blew me away. The console itself feels pretty sturdy. It doesn’t feel cheap or thrown together. Buttons aren’t a pain to press. Holding it feels better with a case on it though. I would highly recommend buying a protective case for these. As fast as these are flying off the shelves, if you break yours, you may not be able to replace it for a long time. All in all, it’s fun and worth the money. Just take care of it.

I really like my switch lite! It kills time and I'll I've done is play smash bros and animal crossing. However, the battery life is kind of short! I wish it lasted a little longer, but that's something to say about my own personal time management and how much I play on my little switch! haha The product is lightweight and fits in any purse i own. It was totally worth the purchase, if you're deciding--just get it. You won't regret it.

I have a Nintendo Switch but it didn't feel comfortable to hold and play, because it was too wide. I missed playing games on it because I gave it away, so I ordered the SwitchLite and now I can't put it down. Too much fun. Also all the games I downloaded on the Switch and can be download on the SwitchLite!

With Animal Crossing sweeping the Nation... I knew I had to buy a Switch to play on. I wanted ACNH SO bad. With big switches nowhere to be found, I opted to buy this Switch Lite... I am so happy with my choice. It's the perfect handheld gaming system, and just small enough to travel easily! It comes with a variety of games (hello Witcher 3 and Zelda!) and I'm super glad I bought it!

Didn’t like that I had to order from Amazon Global and had to pay more than the going rate for Nintendo Switch Light. It usually sells lfor 199.00 in the US but the price was jacked up a few weeks before Christmas and supply was low. I only paid 45.00 over US price and it arrived quickly and safely. My granddaughter was thrilled to get it.
