These are fun and I highly recommend them! I am loving working on the frist one I pulled out. The kit is one of the best I've seen. I like that these come as a wrapped canvas. I have finished the first 6 numbers and so far there is plenty of paint in each numbered container. My dog even got ahold of one and he bit through the #1, I have no idea how much paint he ate (puppies, am I right).... and I still had plenty to use. You should know that the numbers and spaces are small. I am 42 and nearsighted and it makes me go a little cross eyed. Just an FYI for those who might struggle more with eye sight or any hand trembles. I got these for my wife, who recently picked up painting as a hobby. She loves it! She paints nearly every day, and can’t get enough. The only complaint she’s had has been numbers showing through paint, but that could be due to her lack of experience so far, adding more layers or using a whiteout pen has definitely helped. This is the perfect hobby after a stressful workday. The colors are vibrant. Some of the spaces are small and difficult to read but this is just where I use the opportunity to use my creativity and pick a color that I think will look best. My only issue which I have with all paint by numbers is the thickness of the paint. The lighter spots need multiple color applications. I also wish these came with a separate sheet showing the color grid. But the paint is easy to clean up and fun, colorful projects. ... show more

I've only started on one painting but its enough to see the flaws in this design. First of all some of the numbers are so small painting them is a struggle. The paintbrushes provided are usable crap. They are decent on larger numbers but the smaller intricate numbers they are terrible. I had my own set of paintbrushes I started using and purchased more paintbrushes. The lighter colors do not provide much coverage and you can still see the numbers. I am debating about getting a white paint to paint over the numbers to combat this. My last issue is the little card that shows where all the colors go, its tiny and with all the small little spots its useless, I suggest a larger printout with a copy of the paint by numbers with a colored version on the front. If you are looking for a new way killing time, get it! It wasn’t hard except your patience. Very excited to begin my project. Just a reminder, it’s a little hard to cover the number and dividing line with the lighter paints.
