  • Type C not working
Size: 300W
I previously had the older model without a type C port. I've used it for a year and a half almost daily through some pretty bad conditions where many people who do not own it and aren't necessarily careful when handling it and it's been flawless. I bought this one on sale because the last one was so good. This one seems just as high quality. Everything works as it should exept the USB C port was dead right out of the box. I've tried several cords and nothing gets power from it. That's a big disappointment. I'm looking to getting a couple more but I may try a different brand rather then risking non working features out of the box. ... show more

  • Second day of power outage
Size: 300W
I'm a native of New England, now living in the Sacramento, California Valley on and off for more than fifty years. I laugh when local newscasters predict a 'major storm'. Like, HELLO? - I've been through hurricanes! The one that hit us on New Years was a doozie. We live on an island in the Sacramento Delta. Yesterday's storm left many of us in the dark. Going into our second day now. Time to power-up the portable generator for refrigeration and most of the house is freezing. (We have a gas fireplace in our bedroom, thank goodness.) This gadget has powered our cell and laptop so we can keep tabs on breaking news. No regrets for the expense. ... show more

  • Reliable off grid option
Size: 500W
We bought an amish house a year ago, and quickly realized we needed an option for electrical while we got our wind and solar figured out. I charge the ninjabatt with the dc port in my car or with our generator. We use it to charge our phones, tablets, laptop, etc. We can run our TV and DVD player when we need to. It even runs my kitchen aid! We have had problems with the top ac port not working all the time. One of the USB ports broke after a few months, And sometimes the fan makes a loud whine. But we frequently talk about getting a second one, so I can't complain about it too much ... show more

  • Good For Camping with CPAP Airsense 10
Size: 300W
I've used this on two camping weekends with my CPAP. I bought this to use with my Airsense 10 CPAP. With a good seal it will run about 18 hours using the AC outlet with the heating features turned off. Heated Humidity or tube heat drain the battery quickly. It worked well, but a couple of times a night the Airsense shut off then turned back on as if it were momentarily unplugged. This woke me up because the air flow stopped. The first night I used it I had some water get into the tent. I didn't like the idea of having water and 120V AC near me, so for the second trip I got a ResMed 37297 DC/DC converter that plugs into the cigarette plug so I could leave the AC shut off. This worked flawlessly, and was also more efficient, pushing the run time to about 24 hours. The unit takes about 4 hours to charge with the included A/C adapter. For the second trip I bought a ROCKPALS RP082 100w Solar system. This worked well with the NinjaBatt. None of the plugs on the ROCKPALS fit the Ninja directly, but a barrel plug adapter that came with the NinjaBatt worked. Don't lose it! The 100w Solar panel delivered between 20W (overcast) and 75W (bright direct sunlight) charging in Indiana in the Spring. I used the Airsense 10 overnight and was able to charge the battery back to 100% in a few hours. I confirmed the following adapter to work well with the NinjaBatt to add an additional cigarette plug: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0743CQL6G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 On my first campout I also bought a 12V electric blanket for my wife to put in her sleeping bag: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009Y2CFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It pulls about 45 watts, so I could only run it a couple hours and also have my CPAP run all night, but it's a nice way to get a bag really warm and comfy then shut it off. I use a lot of Ryobi One+ 18V battery system for lights, fans, inflators, etc on campouts, and I have a ryobi P131 DC battery charger for the drill batteries. Using this plugged into the cigarette port the Ninjabatt can charge one of the small 28WH batteries in under half an hour (showed 70W on the Ninjabatt display while charging) for about 10% of the Ninjabatt capacity. This is a real win combined with the Solar Panel, since the Ninjabatt can regulate the Solar input while also driving it's output ports. So far very happy. Plan to get a 12V utility pump to use as an emergency manual back-up for our sump pump if the power goes out. Will revise review with additional info if that works. Tested the USB C port with my Samsung S21, and charge was very fast. Wattage on the display was 20, so It's definitely using USB C Power Delivery spec. ... show more

  • Bought as a backup power source for a CPAP machine for power outages
Size: 500W
But have used it outdoors for barbeques and pool parties when running cords is a hassle and a trip hazard.
