My daughter plays travel softball, and this entails long days at the ball field (8-12 hours). I want her to eat as healthy as possible and do not like having to leave the softball field to chase down fast food or find a grocery store. That being said, I would pack things like sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, applesauce packs, protein bars, etc, and put them in ziploc bags in the main compartment of our old cooler with the drinks. Within hours, these things would end up smashed or water logged and she would not eat them. I saw a friend had bought this cooler for a beach trip and gave it excellent reviews, and although I feel it is a bit pricy, I can say it is worth every single penny as are all Ninja products I have ever purchased! When they say the bottom separate compartment keeps food dry and cool like it is in a refrigerator, they are serious. The ice from the top compartment keeps everything in the COOL DRY ZONE COOL AND DRY all day! We were at the softball field for 12 hours this past weekend, and at the end of the day, everything in that bottom compartment was still extremely cold and as if it had just been prepared. To give you an idea of how much the bottom compartment will hold, I had 8 ham sliders on hawaiian rolls, cut up fruit in a small tupperware container, two zip log bags of grapes, 4 pouches of applesauce, 3 chocolate protein bars (which have never survived a cooler for the day) and two PB&J sandwiches and STILL had room for more! I bought the 36 can cooler, and it was perfect for 2-4 people all day at the ballfield. The top compartment is really large and kept everything ice cold the entire day as well. We also took this cooler on a 5 mile kayaking trip. We strapped it to the back of the kayak with it lying down, and it did not leak out. Again, we packed a lunch in the bottom for 5 people that day and had more than enough drinks up top for this 7 hour excursion. I normally do not review products, but Ninja seemed to have developed one that is just perfect for family outings. The only negative thing I have to say about it is in regards to the weight, as it weighs around 6 lbs empty, but I am not sure how they could make it any lighter and maintain the same quality. My husband says it is very comfortable to wear and doesn't seem too heavy when loaded up, but when I use it I just throw it in a wagon and pull it, so it works well for us. I highly recommend this cooler!

We love this cooler since we ordered this it's been going to the water park with us the ice lasts for hours and whatever ice doesn't melt we save it and put back in the freezer for next time.

We love our new cooler. The dry storage on the bottom is perfect. Since cold air sinks, that cold helps keep the dry foods colder. The cooler worked great for a recent road trip.

Nice concept but not functional for more than 3-4 hours.

Not sure what this cooler is good for, your lucky to fit 6 bottles in and still have enough room for ice to keep it cold for 4 hours much less a day. I bought this manly for day trips, Paddle Boarding, Pickle Ball, Zoo's, Hiking and cycling. With adding the time in the car possibly 6-10 hours . Ice has never made it thru 1/2 that time. Other issues the zippers are tight, but if you dont get them all the way closed the cooler will leak water. Since this cooler has the dry vault on the bottom its top heavy. tends to tip over easily in the car if you go around corners or break to quick. then all that water spills inside your car. Learned need to wedge it between stuff to keep it from tipping over. over all nice idea but my old fashion igloo works better and was 1/2 the price

I originally purchased this to take with me when my husband and I take trips to float on the river and other outings. This is a solid cooler! The fabric is thick and it's well-made. It keeps drinks cold. It travels well; easy to put on as a backpack. It's compact so easy to carry. The zipper seals well, that lid is on tight. I would buy this again. Great value for the money.

I was really excited about this cooler until I got it. The design is great in theory, but the dry zone is never actually dry. When you put ice in the top of the cooler, it melts and condensates into the dry zone, making it more like a wet zone lol. I was surprised at how quickly the ice melts in the actual cooler portion and overall disappointed in the actually quality. Written as I’m drinking my now warm beer on the beach. Stick to blenders
