This magnetic hitch pin has been a great addition to my lawn tractor. I use a tow behind yard sweeper that came with a bolt and cotter pin. Using this magnetic hitch pin is much easier than trying to line up the cotter pin so low to the ground. While this does come with a cotter pin, I have found it to be secure enough with the strong magnet that I do not need the cotter pin. The quality of the main body and the support bars was high. The welds looked reasonably good and the finish was nice. I bent the long support arms in a vice to improve the fitup. The hardware, however, was awful. The shoulder was too long on the main attachment bolt. I had to add washers as spacers because the shoulder was too long for the nut to tighten on the mounting plate. It was Easter so I couldn't buy a proper bolt, but I'll replace it with a proper bolt later. I broke one of the 1/4" bolts with a lightweight 1/4" ratchet. The bolts are weak! ... show more
