Durable textured black powder coat finish. Remove the nuts on the bottom of the door hinge and lift off your factory doors. Hang your new Tubular Doors in place of the old and secure them with the supplied hardware. This is a great looking bumper, but there were a couple of issues installing: 1) The line up of the holes was extremely tight on one side. I finally got enough bolts sticking through that I could I was able to slowly force the bumper in place by tightening the bolts. It will be hell to remove. Had this not worked, I would have had to drill out 4 holes to allow the bumper to slide on. 2) The instructions for wiring were very sketchy. I reused the existing wiring harness. The instructions show that you hook black to existing black and red to existing red, however, there were no red wires on the existing jeep harness, only a black and a white with a stripe on each side. I just hooked the black to existing black and the red to the existing white wires and the lights worked fine. The instructions should be corrected to clarify this issue. 3) The instructions tell you that if you are installing a winch, you will need to remove the frame cover. Unlike what the instructions lead you to believe, the frame cover must be removed and cannot be left in place. The bumper will not fit if the cover is left in place. The two plastic pins holding it in place can easily be removed with a 1/4" drill bit. 4) As others have noted in the reviews, one end of the bumper had poked through the packaging and was exposed so that it could have been damaged, fortunately, mine had no damage. Nilight should correct this with more reliable protection. Despite these issues, this was good deal and I highly recommend this to any Jeep owner that wants a competitively priced bumper. ... show more

Love it now that it is on. First one I received the bolts were set so far off we could not get it on. Notified Amazon and had a 2nd one delivered within just a few days. The bolts were still slightly off on the 2nd one but my helper was able to do some adjustments very carefully with a hammer and after about 20+ trials and errors were able to get the bolts in enough to force it all the way in with the nuts. Oh...if you zoom on the pic one of my lights was put in upside down. Did not notice it until we finally had it on. So...just left it. The bumper looks great now that it is on. Only complaint is the company needing to re-measure the bolt placements for the JKUs. I do see reading other reviews that this has been an on going issue. It looks GREAT though now that it is on!!! 5 stars on looks. 4 stars for bolts being slightly off. 5 Stars for Amazon's quick resolution by sending 2nd one with out hesitation. ... show more

I have a Wrangler Jk 2door 2010. Both front and rear bumpers work and look amazing. Installing both really didn’t take much effort and with 2-3 people made it very easy. One thing is that had poor packaging with both being ripped in places both bumpers had a little chip but with a lot rust spray looked great again. Been driving with both for about 2 weeks with zero problems. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!(I am covering my license plate in photo) ... show more

Love this bumper, very stout and strong, easy installation by myself in less than 1 hour, gave 4 stars because 1 of the threaded bolt holes was stripped and I did not have the proper tap to fix, but the other 7 went perfectly, easy light hook up. Would recommend

Flawless out of the box. Lights are brighter than expected! The textured pain coat looks great on my gladiator. Product would have received 5 stars if the bolts lined up perfect with the factory holes. It took a bit of hammering and muscle to get bumper mounted on the factory brackets. Box came with correct amount of bolts and nuts. No instruction manual, but there’s a install video on youtube. I used the harness from the factory bumper to rewire the lights. You’ll need a 13mm, 16mm and 18mm deep socket and extension for installation. ... show more

Bumper was easy to install. Regular garage tools needed. Sockets and wrench and a flat head screwdriver for the body pins on the jeep grill. Wiring was a breeze for jeep jk. Flaw: it's mainly for off reading. My state law says I can't have more than 4 forward facing lights on at a time including the headlights. The 4 in bumper plus my headlights makes 6. With that said though I love my bumper. Adds a needed protection from deer darting in front of you as it's all metal. And advice, use a friend when installing this is a chunky piece of steel. ... show more

This bumper was delivered today. It only took a little while to install it, however the two bolts that need to be installed in the bumper won't thread in. I was able to get it securely installed with the 6 that mount to the existing mount. I was running out of light so i may have to loosen it up to get them in. I also haven't had a chance to wire up the LED's so i will update when that's done. Overall i was happy with how easy it was to install. ... show more
