These shipped quickly and arrived in good shape. Someone borrowed my trailer, and broke one of my rear lights, so I needed to replace one rear light. I was concerned that it might not be an easy switch to LED lights from my old incandescent lights. It was a simple replacement. There was nothing wrong with the wiring, so I used the existing wiring and just replaced the lights themselves. This was a simple job. The LEDs are a great improvement. Most important to me is the safety aspect that the trailer is so much more visible than with the old incandescent lights. Highly recommend.

When I received this kit I was pleasantly surprised by everything the kit included. I didn't expect the kit to come with a full wiring harness and connectors so that was a plus. Everything was straightforward enough to wire up, although I do wish the instructions were a little more descriptive regarding some of the components. The rear lights have some kind of adhesive pad but it's not clear where they go, so I just put them on the "light" side without sticking them. I ended up using the existing wiring on my trailer but I'm a little concerned with what was included to connect the wires - simple twist connectors that you might find in a household junction box. Since these are meant to be installed on a submersible trailer I'd rather make sure my wire connections are watertight as well (as such I soldered and heat shrunk all connections to be on the safe side.) A couple of other disappointments with the included hardware - a licence plate frame is included but no hardware to install the license plate itself, and the rings for the negative leads are too small to fit around the attachment bolts on the rear lights (where my previous leads were located.) Once everything was wired up the lights worked great though. Nice and bright LEDs that I expect will last a good while. The hardware issues aren't really a deal breaker since I didn't expect the kit to come with any of that anyway, it would just be nice if it was a little more thought out. All in all a great and inexpensive upgrade for a small trailer.

the lights went is super easy, the first time we used the trailer, the license plate bracket broke and the plate was gone. When I installed the plastic bracket, it felt flimsy, I should have went with my gut!

Replaced the original trailer lights with these and they work great, nice and bright but not blinding. Direct replacement, wire colors match the original. I used heat sealing butt splices for a waterproof connection that won't corrode. I'm NOT using these on a boat trailer so I don't know how they work after being submerged. I haven't used them long but so far they are working good and I'm happy with the purchase. I've used other Nilight brand LED lights and never had a failure, that's the main reason I purchased these.

Color: Trailer Light Kit
For the price this is an ok kit but here are my critisisms. 1. Instructions are very limited and are printed in color. The yellow print is not ledgeable. I think most people know what yellow looks like. 2. The wires on the amber lights are thinner then a toothpick unlike the brake/turn light. The turn light covers are color coded but the wires on the left light face down, whereas the right face down. There is a cut out to route the wires down but its a lack of qualty factor that stands out. 3. The hardware provided is junk so be prepared to use better self tap screws and connectors. 4. The box the item came in was too small for the relector stickers which were bent to fit creating a permanent crease. This will eventually crack. 5. The amber lights and mounting holes are not the same size as the bulb type so modifications were necessary creating more time and effort to mount. I based my purchase on price and consider this kit quality equivelant to the value recieved. Nothing more, nothing less.
