I bought this switch after returning an Auxbeam switch that didn't work at all. I installed everything per the instructions, the install is fairly simple, the switch is in a (Can Am Maverick X3), however, when I connected my side mirrors w/lights, to the controller panel,they looked like they were on, even without the car turned on, it's like there was a residual power going to the controller, the lights come on fully when the circuit they are on is turned on, however, they never go off completely. this is an obvious issue as it will continually drain the battery. These xprite side mirrors worked fine when I had them hooked to the rocker switch, so it has to be the controller. I also have my particle separator connected to the controller and it does not do that, it only comes on when the switch for that circuit is activated. I gave it two stars because it could be a good controller, if it worked correctly, I am interested to see how good the two year warranty is? ***UPDATE*** I wanted to update my review of this product. After contacting Nilight customer service and explaining the problem I was experiencing, and a quick video of the issue, they sent me a whole new controller. Once I installed the new controller, all the issues described above went away. I want to say kudos to the Nilight customer service team, they did a great job of listening to the issue and rectifying it in a timely manner.

I recently purchased the Nilight 8 Gang Switch Panel System Circuit Control Relay System Fuse Wiring Harness for my vehicle, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The media could not be loaded. Bought this product back in March installed in March and by July unit stopped working. I only had 4 items hooked up, 1x300watt led light bar, 2x60watt pod lights, 2x60watt flush mount pods, 2x running board lights @ 10watts total. Unit says can handle up to 720watts. So let's do the math, 300+60+60+60+60+10=550 watts, still have room for more. 60 amps is what this unit says it can handle, well under that even with everything on at once. Installed and it worked great, loved the new set up. But then with in months the control pad started flickering and would shut off within seconds of being turned on. Then it wouldn't turn on at all. Called customer service for NILIGHT, that was a joke. No answer, just a recording and then would hang up. Reached out via email and text, sent the required information they asked for and I just got the run around like many others have had. So now it's a useless pile of junk that NILIGHT should replace since I'm still with-in my 2 year warranty window. LETS GO NILIGHT, GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER.

FIRST, I want to say this is a very nice and very well built product- very nicely packaged and it has some nice features like auto dimming backlight and on / off button memory (pressing the main panel power button, it remembers which circuits you used last time and automatically turns them on again!) this was money well spent! BUT... jeep wrangler owners, I installed this on my 2017 JKU and it was not a simple install. as you're aware, jeep has very little dash real-estate to mount anything! as compact as the main panel is, it was difficult finding a spot to mount this. I chose to mount it to the left of the steering wheel just above the speaker grill. a few additional items you'll want before mounting this... buy two 1/2" rubber grommets, a micro fuse tap an extra 3' of 18 ga red wire and a piece of 1/8" heat shrink & soldier (to properly extend the +ACC wire. I drilled a 1/2" hole inn the dash pad and in the firewall 4" below where the steering shaft is. under the hood, the only place i found to fit the relay box was just behind the ECM module. I had to make 2 custom brackets to mount it (seen in pic) - good news is, there's a factory ground post right there on the fender wall. the relay box battery cable reached the battery just enough- I routed it along the firewall over to the battery, however, the hot (+) ACC wire was way too short and needed to be extended to reach the fuse box. it took me a few hours to install it, but it nearly looks factory installed- To the manufacturer NiLight, I strongly suggest you include a fuse tap in the install kit and make the +ACC wire 3' longer. All that being said- I love the look & feel of the product- and adding accessories will be a snap moving forward! :)
