This review is for the white/blue option. I must say, the quality of this light bar is much better than I expected. I was expecting flimsy, that I got was something with heft. I've included a pic to give an idea if anyone is curious. Over 2lbs. First up was the magnetic base test. Like all good tests it was done on the refrigerator, and with plastic still covering the feet, it defied gravity, didn't slip, and offered good resistance when removing. As far as the lights, they are super bright. No directions came with the light, but none were needed (what can't be figured out??), just plug in, flip the on switch, then use the other switch to cycle through the different light functions. One thing to mention is that while cycling through the plug popped out. It appears its a bit thinner in diameter (I'm guessing to make sure it fits a wide range of plugs?) and relies on the little springy parts to hold itself in place. Not a big deal. Speaking of the plug, I have an outlet in the front, middle, and rear of my vehicle, but with 16ft of cord I can use any of them and still place the light where I need it. Reading through some of the reviews, there are some interesting use cases, but for me this will be used as a safety light in case of an emergency. Can't speak for the weather resistance yet, but have zero doubts that it will certainly be able to hold up to inclement weather and not become water logged. ... show more

OK, first off… I ain’t gonna lie. I didn’t buy this to slap it on the roof of my vehicle. But if I had wanted to, I seriously doubt it would stay put without some extra help. The suction cups are just kind of, meh, and honestly, the lights themselves are meh too. That’s a real letdown because Nilight usually nails it when it comes to lighting products. That said, it is still better than most off-brand options out there. The build quality seems decent, and I don’t expect any durability issues. It’s just not quite the home run I was expecting from Nilight. Good enough for light use, but if you’re expecting pro-grade suction or brightness, you might want to look elsewhere or plan to modify it a bit. The wire length will get you by to plug it in. It does seem to be pretty water resistant and it does function properly. I do believe it is a good value, just hoped for more. ... show more

When you need a warning light, you need something that can't be missed. I was looking for a high-visibility strobe bar for my truck, and this Nilight unit has completely blown me away. First, let's talk about the brightness. This light is seriously, impressively bright. The 30 LEDs put out an incredible amount of light, and the various flashing patterns are impossible to ignore. Whether it's day or night, this light cuts through the visual noise and ensures you will be seen. I have no doubt it's visible for miles. The build quality is also excellent. The housing is solid and feels like it's built to handle real work and rough weather. But the most impressive feature might be the magnetic base. These aren't your standard refrigerator magnets. The suction cups combined with the powerful magnets create an incredibly strong, secure bond to the roof of my vehicle. Even at highway speeds, this thing doesn't budge an inch. Magnets barley hold the light on while not in motion, no way the will hold going down the road.. it is just 4 light bars held together with a single screw on each corner, do not think it will hold up for long. Lights are so so brightness..

    • Decent quality LED light bar for vehicle

This is actually a pretty decent warning light bar. The magnets are very strong and do have protection on them to help from scratching your paint. Always make sure the surface is clean before installation because that will cause a surface problem. The lights are bright, and nice that you can select the flash patterns. It has a lot of sequencing flash patterns, but does not have a "random" flash patterns like I would have liked to see. It also has a sequence left flash patterns, but no sequence right. So maybe add those and it would be a little more functional. But overall, it works well and does the job! ... show more

This is just too awesome! Theses light work perfectly. Now I just need to figure out where to install it on the tractor. It's does have suction cup mounts, so they are an easy stick them on, plug and play. I don't think I would trust them as a permanent outer installation. You could always put a bar rack over the cab to secure them. You may have a different idea or trust than I do. However, I do believe they are perfect for temporary usage when needed though. It comes with a 12v power cord with on/off and light pattern controller. I chose the white & green lights. I just don't see those running, every and they are the perfect size and fit for my rig. These safety/emergency lights are extremely bright, so you will be seen. The quality is excellent and the value is even better. ... show more

This thing is beefy! I was imagining a weak plastic assembly, but nope. The oversized suction cups are warranted for this thing! It needs them! Its very bright and viewable at a long distance. For the price it really is incredible. The lights wrap around all four sides, which is a nice touch. Its easy to use and control. Since the control buttons are on the 12v adapter, be sure your particular vehicle has the power plug within reach of the user. If it was on the floor or otherwise out of reach it could be problematic. ... show more
