This review is for Nike Women's Victory Baselayer Dri-FIT Mid-Rise 5" Biker Short - Black/White Size M: I usually wear a size S (5'7", 127 lbs, 27" waist), but the only size available was M, and since I’m sometimes between sizes in athletic shorts, I went for it even though the size chart indicated S based on my waist measurements. While the waist and butt actually fit great, the leg openings aren’t as snug as I’d prefer. Not a huge issue, though because they still look good on and feel amazing. What really impressed me is the quality and material. The material is so soft and lightweight and the shorts are very well constructed. The Dri‑FIT will keep me dry during cycling and my daily 3–4 mile walk/runs. This is especially important to me living in the FL, where the summer heat and humidity can be pretty intense. Overall, these workout-friendly shorts are awesome and super comfortable, but for me at least, I’d stick to the size chart and wouldn’t size up. Hopefully my review and photos help someone feel more confident about their sizing choice.

These Nike Dri-FIT shorts are great. I wasn't sure what to expect but the fabric is so soft and comfy that I have been wearing them to sleep in! They are designed for working out but I am definitely using them as sleep shorts as well. The fabric is a poly spandex blend that stretches beautifully while the thick waistband keeps my mom belly in place. They are not see through at all though I'm not sure if that will apply to lighter colors. I tried a medium and they fit just right. 5'2" 125 lbs, 28" waist. Good quality and what I would expect from a name brand like Nike.

I believe that these run true to size. They’re snug, but I think they’re intended to be very form fitting. If you’re wanting something a little roomier, I recommend sizing up. They feel thin but not cheap, and they’re not see through either! My biggest pet peeve is when the legs roll up, but these ones don’t!
