Feels sturdy and provides good cushion for your feel. The color (black) seems more to fit more in restaurants than a home. The color also lends toward any spills or drops to be very visible which requires more cleaning.

These definitely make a difference when standing a decent while compared to without. These aren't very thick so they are definitely not the best but I usually order them on sale which makes them a good value. I originally purchased this mat to put in my kitchen. However, it now has a new purpose. It was so comfortable to stand on, that I decided to use it for my indoor "walk in place" routine. It takes the stress/fatigue off of my legs. The kitchen will have to wait for the next one.
