Like bamboo material. Clear instructions. All parts clearly marked & included. My "A" part was missing the correct inset drill hole for the larger screw head to fit properly flush. Will get a screw with smaller head for that later. The star head Allen wrench tool to tighten all the hardware was quite the challenge for me. Maybe your hands are bigger & stronger than mine. Or maybe I should have used a drill, but I don't think the delicate bamboo would have survived a drill! These are going in the guest room as bedside tables, for a charger & lamp, etc. ... show more

    • Holes too loose, screws fall out.
Great size and look for a small room. One piece had correctly sized screw-holes and is sturdy enough. The other piece has to be handled very carefully to avoid separation where the holes are too big for the screws.

Assembly was pretty simple and the package was light and really small. The quality could be slightly better - they are a bit splintery when being put together, so be careful, and the top piece (the "tabletop") was slightly warped on both items, so they only screwed into 2 or 3 holes instead of 4. However, this doesn't seem to affect the stability, and the tables seem quite durable. My bed is quite tall and these are still the perfect height, with enough room for all my books/water/phone etc. I'd recommend these. ... show more
