SHV 5-20x56 Scope The most powerful of our SHV series performs beautifully at both close and extended ranges on varmints, big game, and for making tight groups on paper. You get outstanding clarity, crispness and color contrast at every magnification setting. It features a full 80 MOA of elevation adjustment, side parallax adjustment and ZeroSet technology which allows a quick return to your initial zero setting, regardless of how many elevation adjustments you’ve made. It’s tough, reliable and big calibers won’t bother it. The SHV 5-20x56 won’t bother your finances too much, either. MOAR - 20 MOA - Center Illumination With 1 MOA elevation and windage markings, .125 MOA lines, more accurate range finding and hold-offs are possible on smaller targets at longer ranges. Combined with a floating center crosshair, this makes for a reticle extremely fast and easy to use in the field. This reticle features center illumination only, and a 20 MOA scale below center. Forceplex The Nightforce Forceplex reticle was created by and for hunters. Designed with direct customer feedback, it is simple and uncomplicated, with a clean, unobstructed field of view. The fourplex design has long been prized by hunters around the world for the way the heavier lines center your eye quickly on the target…yet we’ve made no compromises on precision, with 0.125 MOA thick center crosshairs that allow precise shot placement on the smallest target - even at extended distances. Bought this for a Barrett 50 BMG. Did not disappoint. Good clear optics, solid as a rock. Precision adjustments. Bore sighted initially. Was bullseye in 2 shots at 100 yds. Now to take it to the range and sight it in for 1000 yds.

Like all Nightforce scopes, this one is really, really good. Excellent glass all the way to the edges, for sure, but what means more to me is how well it tracks. With Nightforce, there's never a question: when you dial in an adjustment, you get exactly what you expect to get. I totally love that. This is by far the best scope I've ever used, but when I got it, the box was beat to h*ll and the scope had light scuff marks that mark it as being used. Either way, I just wanted to shoot and didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting money back, then repurchasing another freaking expensive scope, just to risk getting a similar one back after another wait. All in all, its hands down the best scope I've ever owned and I'm now willing to drop money on a Night Force ACAR next, but I swear, if that scope arrives in the same questionable manner this one did, I'm sending it back. If I have any issues with this scope, I fully expect a refund or compensation for receiving a used or opened product, either from Night Force, or from Amazon. Great quality from a great company. I was looking at a number of different scopes and narrowed it down to this one and the nxs. After doing some research and contacting night force they confirmed that the SHV is built just as sturdy and durable as the nxs line. I didn’t need or want the extra features that came with the nxs line I just needed something bullet proof. So far I’m ver satisfied. Comparing it to my leupold vx5 the glass quality is similar. The scope tracks and hold zero great. Would highly recommend if looking for a tactical style scope. ... show more
