I read every review on the internet about this optic and spent a year and went through 2 other optics that were about $500.00 cheaper what I've found is for me I prefer the light weight that this scope offers and small footprint the eyebox is definitely tight but I haven't found this to be a deal breaker I shoot this scope almost as fast as any dot sight I've ever had this scope is definitely a compromise but for me it fits the role I need it for perfectly the reticle is excellent as well as the clarity it really comes down to what you require this is a great close to midrange optic that's really lightweight small and clear i highly recommend and am already looking to purchase another for a recce setup ... show more

Was chipped when received. No swag package and the reticle was bad. Aside from that the optic looked really good. But had to return it. Glass was also not that clear.

This thing is awesome. Haven’t mounted it yet,but,the box it came is really nice and it had other stuff in it. I even got a sticker to put on my garage door. I am honestly not sure what all the hype is about this optic. It's up there close to the price of some of the top top of the line optics and in my opinion it's about $1,000 over priced. It is not even close to a true 1x so quickly mounting and shooting with both eyes open is going to make you dizzy, you need to shoulder weapon and then give your eyes a couple seconds to focus the double vision you're seeing due to it being more like 1.5x. No amount of adjusting the diopter would help, and the glass had a very odd shifting affect which changed the mag at 1x if you dialed the elevation turret. My scope was so bad that I can only assume I had a defective scope. I returned it. I own a K16i, K18i, and a VX-6HD 1-6 which all perform excellently compared to this NX8 did. ... show more

This scope is a compromise, as all scopes are. What is the compromise for $1750? Let me tell you. Pros: light and small, amazing build quality, great weather sealing, very bright red illumination, fantastic reticle, very satisfying clicks of the turrets, titanium parts, good included zoom lever. Cons: thick black border around sight picture at all zoom levels, very VERY hard to see through at 8x, poor quality glass with LOTS of chromatic aberration, annoying-to-use diopter adjustment that must be refocused whenever you zoom, blurry at BEST, just NOT worth the price, not even close. "Night Force" is a cheesy name. Night is not going to be when you can use this NX8. They should rename themselves "Broad Daylight Force". Honestly it's 2022. Please use ED glass for all your products, NF. This thing is kinda a piece of crap, and you want $1000 more for a much heavier, much bigger actually decent scope. Innovate or die. ... show more
