  • Very good.
I live in a dark northern location. I thought these would be junk. But they increase contrast and shadow detail to a remarkable extent. Dusk light appears much brighter, and the world in general appears much sharper. I bought them as a joke, but will now never drive without them. What is really nice, is that my world has gone from shades of grey to back to normal daylight appearance with a significant differentiation between objects. In night driving I don't get the usual eyeball sear that you seem to get from EV's, and their laser beam headlights. OK. I won't point the finger at Teslas, but I mean Teslas. ... show more

  • Helps with night vision for driving
At 70 years old, with cataracts, night driving has become a problem. The glare from oncoming halogen headlights dang near blinds me. Ask my ophthalmologist about the possibility of glasses helping and he advised that there was no clear evidence on the subject. He recommended that I try an inexpensive pair of yellow tinted glasses to see if they helped. Ordered these and tried them out immediately. The glasses themselves seem to be well made considering the price and I really like the case they come with. The case fits snugly on my dashboard and keeps the glasses from sliding around when not in use. As far as night driving goes, they seem to help slightly. For the price, slightly is enough. Cuts down on the glare and helps be see lane markings better. Also tends to brighten things, other than headlights, up somewhat. Even a little helps a lot. Personal choice but for me they help. ... show more

  • Definitely dims all light.
These work great and as intended, although I thought lights would be a bit more dim. Any bright light is now tolerable, but I could see a more expensive pair making night driving truly a breeze compared to not having any. They are still a 5 because it gets the job done, and they look awesome. They are also light enough to wear for hours. ... show more

  • Very cost effective for nighttime driving when bright and glaring lights are a problem
At less than $7 you can’t beat these for nighttime driving comfort when subjected to bright and glaring lights. Try these before spending more for others. The frames are also easy to bend for better comfort. All tinted eye-glass lenses reduce the amount of light that enters the eyes and do not under any circumstances increase one’s vision. Perspective of improved vision relates to contrasts and color changes and is subjective only. So, your expectations for nighttime driving glasses must be realistic. A question regarding whether these glasses are polarized is very easy to answer: YES. Testing this at home is quite easy. Your computer screens and cell phone screens pass light that is polarized. Hold the lens up next to either screen and slowly rotate the lens; a polarized lens displays changes in intensity of the light that is passed. In this case, the yellows will become more and less intense as the lens is rotated and polarization planes become perpendicular or parallel. The efficacy of these glasses for nighttime driving is evident when exposed to those terribly bright white, blue and purple lights now in use. The yellow lenses reduce the intensity of the blues and purples rendering a softer yellow light. Glare is reduced dependent upon how the light interacts with the polarization planes in the lens. Glare will not be totally eliminated because to do so would mean that no light passed through the lens, effectively blinding you. ... show more

  • Small lenses
Disappointed because the lenses are very small. Otherwise, they seem well-made and I do like the case they came in.

  • Headlight Glare
These driving glasses block off the high beam and LED lights of incoming traffic. Understand that these glasses reduce glare and do not tighten yourveiw of the path.

  • NOT very polarized and don’t reduce glare.
For seven dollars it’s hard to complain, but these glasses do not meet the need for which I bought them. I wanted glasses that had good polarization to reduce car light glare at night. These do not. So I’m not please. If you just want yellow lenses, then you might like these glasses at such a cheap price. I will shop for another product and probably spend double triple quadruple to get what I want. ... show more

  • Makes rain driving easier!
I originally got these to put over my sunglasses as an added layer to stop on the way home migraines. Found out I can actually see much more when it’s raining if using them during that time. It was pure luck. Not bad for the price and even can in a cool triangular case to keep them in. I’d buy them again if I broke them. ... show more
