Update: The K-cups don't fit lengthwise, they crowd each other at their bases. Try to push one in all the way and it pushes an adjacent K-cup out. So there's never a very uniform or secure fit. The NIFTY 5724B is a good for the price K-cup carousel. Sturdy, quality assembly, overall good design, with a few minor design issues. If I had it to do over, I would consider some of the other Nifty models as an alternative for the following reasons. The knob at the top of the carousel is not functional. You cannot spin the carousel using the knob. For the black paint version, there is a bit of a long term cosmetic design flaw. The 'tree' that holds the K-cups, is supported by a washer, that rests on another washer on the base. As you spin the tree, these two washers's black paint will wear against each other, producing a sort of gray dust, which you may or may not like on your countertops. Eventually the paint at these friction points will wear thru, exposing bare metal. This same wear will occur between the axle, the vertical pole in the center of the carousel, and the washers at the top and bottom. For this reason, the chrome version might have better long term durability. As a fix for the paint wear, I applied minuscule amounts of a plastic safe oil, Labelle 108 with a toothpick to the parts where wear was occurring. The carousel seems to spin more freely and should reduce wear significantly.

This is a great economy version of a K Cup Carousel. I say "economy" version because it's made quite cheap. I ordered two of these since I have two Keurigs in my home and wanted a way to have K Cups nicely organized at both stations. Both had the same issues. There's a chrome ball that sits at the top of the carousel itself that loosens and tightens - this is to hold the part of the carousel that spins attached to the part that doesn't. On one of my units, when the ball is snug, the spinner doesn't spin - when you try to turn it, it actually turns the entire unit itself; so I have to unscrew the metal ball just a little bit to get the functionality restored, and then it wobbles. On the other unit, even with the ball completely snug, the unit wobbles, anyway - and squeaks. I tried a little lubricant where I thought the squeak was coming from, and it resolved nothing. I go on to advise that both units arrive bent. I had to do some twisting and manipulating of the frames, hoping I didn't go too far and break it, before it somewhat resembled how it was *supposed* to look in the first place. I shouldn't have had to do this, and considering the fact that it was packaged extremely well, it sure didn't happen in transit... Finally, these units should come with rubber feet, or even make the entire bottom ring that it sits on rubber coated, so that it sits firmly on solid surface countertops. I feel like if the base had more "grip" on the counter when trying to spin it, the issue I have with the one unit might have been resolved. I don't think I have any rubber feet lying around my home that are small enough to attach to the bottom ring of these things, otherwise I'd give it a shot and revise that part of my review. As things stand, this is something that should be addressed with the manufacturer, not something a buyer should have to deal with. Overall, I wish I'd spent a bit more money and got a better version of this. The media could not be loaded. As a military reservist, I bought this 24 cup coffee pod holder for my reserve office. Our office is bare bones and the overall attitude is that a good cup of coffee is definitely a luxury and not a necessity -I disagree, but that is a whole separate topic. Considering the spartan nature of my second home away from home, I didn't buy this for aesthetics, just overall function. For the price, I think its a little pricey for what it is - a rotating coffee pod carousel to hold my K-Cups in for my Keurig. It's a better way of organizing the pods when compared to my alternative method - which is storing them in their boxes sitting out on my desk, where they would inevitably get knocked over onto the floor. If presentation matters, then this definitely looks better than a raggedy old K-Cup box greeting visitors when they come in. Other than price, my only complaint regarding functionality is that in order to rotate the carousel, you can't use the knob attached to the top of the carousel, you need to push it in a circular motion with your hand. No big deal in the grand scheme of life. The knob on the top is meant for lifting or moving the carousel, which performs its function perfectly.

After purchasing a Keurig coffee maker, I realize that I needed some way of storing the K-cup other than in my cabinet, so that they can be easily reached and orderly. I thought of the drawer holder but based on the measurements they would take up too much space on my counter, far more that the compact Keurig which I bought. I looked at various carousel holders, then finally got this one. I am not disappointed - it spins well, seems well made, holds 24 k-cups and is very convenient since you can easily see the flavors/brands. I store the extra pods in another kitchen cabinet then refill as necessary, so I donโt have to find space in the already filled Cabinet where I store sugar, teas, honey etc for every day use.

With the price point where it is, I didn't know if it was going to be a quality product. Its actually great! It spins easily, but not so much that the pods go flying. They stay in securely and are easily visible. There is enough capacity to have a lot of variety. Morning reading, anyone? It also has a pad on the bottom to protect the display surface. I am very happy with the order and recommend the product.
