I'm 6' 195lbs and I ordered the large. It fits great and I like the way it looks on me. Lets start with the good. It fits well and is lightweight even though it looks bulky. It's got internal drawstrings for the waist, hips and hood so you can really cinch down if you need to. It's done a solid job of blocking the wind, but I haven't had it out in the rain yet. There are hook & loop straps around the wrists that let you cinch those down too if you so desire. The hood does a pretty good job of covering my whole head even when wearing a baseball cap. No real fear of water getting in that way. It does have a couple of oddities that are kind of annoying. It's got a double-ended zipper, no idea why, and getting the zipper to match and zip up is kind of a hassle. The hood has a section that can be unsnapped to extend it out, but it only extends out maybe another inch. Feels unnecessary. My biggest complaint is the pockets. There are 6 and each are closed with a tiny plastic clip. The clips are too small for adult hands to manipulate. I can't even imagine trying to do it with gloves on. Even more problematic is the lack of pockets for my hands. Usually jackets have some kind of pocket that lets your hand enter from the side. I have tried to put my hands into these non-existent pockets at least a hundred times while wearing it. The closest you can get is to unclip the two bottom front pockets and rest your hands in from the top. Feels weird. All that aside, I do like the jacket and feel like it's a good value for the function and style. Just needs to be updated with comfortable pockets I can put my hands into.

I really want to like this jacket, but there are some fitment and quality of life issues with it. Pros: Water proof Large zipper many buttons Many pockets Pockets are big comfortable Draw string closure at the bottom. Cuffs have hook and loop. Hood is great. Cons: Fit is awkward. Zipper is on a side I'm not used to (I hear women's jackets are like this). No side pockets at the hip. Noisy. Pocket closure type. Explanation: The sleeves fit perfectly when my hands are at rest, but when I move them to drive or access a doorhandle, the sleeves pull up to just above my wrist. This is likely due to me being skinny and needing a smaller size to fit my mid section, however, I feel the sleeves could still be longer because I ordered a large and I am not a giant with disproportionately long arms. I am 6'2" and 175Lbs. The pockets are great, they're big and hold a lot. If you're wearing gloves or have large hands, the closure on the pockets will be difficult to pinch open. The pockets themselves do hold up well and keep your belongings dry once secured properly. The hood will keep your face very dry - which I enjoy. You know when you are taking a casual walk outside and you go to put your hands in your pocket - now imagine those pockets disappeared. Weird right? This jacket has no casual walking "I want to put my hands in my pockets" kind of pockets. They have usable storage pockets, but not strolling around kind of pockets. The noise I put as a con, but it comes with the territory of a waterproof jacket - no big deal. I did find the zipper difficult to get started also, but once it was on, it's very good. All in all, 4/5. Despite some missing features, I knew what I was getting. Where this fell short was quality with the zipper, ease of use (pocket issue), and sleeve length (torso and everywhere else fit perfectly). I can safely recommend this.

This is a very cool looking and functionally designed outdoor weatherized jacket. It has a modern urban jungle vibe to the styling and you'd be ready to take on your urban safari adventure in it. Stealthy black, multiple storage, hooded, wind rain resistant. 3/4 length. The material is very good and durable. And the tailoring is excellent. A nice addition to the jacket inventory. It's less bright colored and sporty and more discreet and doesn't give away your presence. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful lightweight jacket from Niepce. The quality is excellent, Stitching looks great the material is that of a light spring jacket this is not a winter coat but seems like it would hold the warmth in very well with layering. A lot of pockets for you to carry everything you need on the go. Everything I’ve got so far from Niepce is comfortable, looks great, a lots of storage, zipper and patchwork is phenomenal, product images match delivered product, fast shipping. Trusty brand and recommended highly if you’re into street wear 👍🏼

Very disappointed with this one, I had high hopes for it. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the middle two buttons broke the very first time I unbuttoned the coat. I wasn't rough with it or anything either, just unbuttoned it gently to take a look and the button just came right with the clasp. The material of the actual jacket is decent, but pretty stiff. As others have mentioned, it does have a lot of pockets but not in the normal places. I generally like to put my hands in the side pockets of a jacket, but this one doesn't have those. Overall I cannot recommend this which is sad because I typically really like this brand.
