I had 3 cranks to go bad. I called the developer that built this house and he was no help at all. I called every place in salem and roanoke, va. no luck. Finally i called a place in rocky mount, va. and he told me to go to Lowes and they could help.They really helped me. I came hom home and ordered them on amazon, i ordered just 1 in case i had to return them. They were easy to install and i ordered the other 2. I now have 3 windows in my kitchen that work perfect.     • Part came as ordered and fast Prime delivery.
I do handyman work and I am often asked to fix these window cranks. I was reluctant to try and replace them, because parts of the window trim must be removed. Now that I have removed window wood parts and replaced this mechanism, I realize how easy it is and am able to help m a NY of my customers by replacing these.
