It isn't sturdy in the sense that it can stand up by itself, but the laminated-feeling inside of the fabric does make it feel like it will last. It's cute and I like it, but it can only be for small loads of laundry and it will fall over as soon as you put clothes in it.

The size is great for little ones but wished it was more stable. Ring in the bottom would help. If you don't mind picking up the clothes when it falls over, it works great.

I've received so many things lately that had unpleasant and, frankly, chemically smells, I'm giving this hamper an extra star because it arrived WITHOUT smelling of anything. It's absolutely clean, no bad smells whatsoever. The design is an attractive geometric pattern, and the hamper is so lightweight, it's easy to move around, collapse, and open. That feature is a bit of a minus, too, because it's so lightweight, it's a little difficult to get the hamper to hold it's structure to maintain neat lines. That's not so much a problem for laundry, but it doesn't have a strong structure for being packed with books. The handles are stitched securely to the hamper in two places.

I like having a clean car and use microfiber cloths exclusively. This hamper provides a handy place to put my microfiber towels when they need a good wash and ensure I don't use them once they are too dirty and before they're cleaned. It stands by itself and is incredibly light. This did exactly what I wanted and I recommend it.

The material is a bit flimsy so it doesn’t stand up and keeps its shape. I have other similar laundry baskets with waterproof material and they’re much firmer in composition so it stands upright and keeps its shape at all times. The top rim has a wire that supports the opening of the laundry basket but it has been deformed from how it was packaged to ship so no matter how I try to reshape it so it stays round, it goes back to its original shape or form. The bottom or base of the laundry basket has no metal wiring or support. It’s just cloth canvas. Grocery tote bags has and keeps better shape and form than this laundry basket. I wish it just stays upright looking straight and sharp like those pop-up laundry baskets made of mesh with netting material. Even those are better at keeping their shape. This just looks like junk compare to those pop-up laundry baskets you can get from Five Below. So it never will look like how it was advertised. The photo is a bit misleading. It should be advertised like the photo I have shared cause that’s how it really looks. It has no shape and foundation. No bones so it will never look like the advertised photo. The only thing I like about this is the handle. The soft leather feel makes it so comfortable to carry especially if the basket is very very full to the brim. Carrying it or dragging it feels comfortable on the hands as compared to others that have handles made of the same material as the basket itself or those that’s made of knit or rope like handles. 2 stars for the handles.

I've got 3 of this style of baskets. They are great for kids toys and surprisingly sturdy for only being fabric. We can fill ours up and carry them around by the handles and have never had one rip on us. These are great that they are bendable so kids can dig in them and also for foldable storage purposes. The price is great too.
