Great quality for the price. The color for the curtains I chose for my small window was bright white, great to perk up a winter kitchen. Called light blockers they keep the bright sun out of my eyes although these curtains stay nice and bright in my window. Love the material and the grommets to hang them up with. I bought this valance to use as a curtain for a very narrow window I have. It looks ok, but it came with a spot of dirt on it and it’s a weird-feeling fabric that I don’t really like. Since I don’t have to handle it much since it’s on the window, I guess that’s not a big deal. The curtains work and they are the perfect size for my needs, so I’m happy with my purchase, but I would have preferred a nice cotton canvas or something. But they didn’t mislead on the description; it’s my choice to try them though they aren’t cotton. I just didn’t expect them to feel so weird. ... show more

I needed short thermal blackout curtains to block the intense Arizona sun that comes in my bathroom window at dawn, immediately turning it into a sauna. The bathroom oddly lacks an outlet for the air conditioner, so if I can keep it cool from the start of the day, it won't be as hot by the afternoon. I was pleased to be able to get the size and type of curtains I need, in a color I like, for a very low price. They arrived packaged nicely, without pressed in folds. Thanks to the grommets I was able to string the pair it onto a tension pole and install it in the bathroom window in about 10 minutes. The curtains I received (teal) almost totally blackout light, and greatly reduce heat. There is no plasticky lining and the curtains are teal on both sides. One thing I didn't think of is that the grommets let some light in. This isn't a big deal for me, but might bother you in a bedroom if the window faces your face. I recommend that buyers look carefully to make sure they are ordering the correct item. For the 24" length, you can get either one wider curtain (52") or two less-wide panels (42"). At first, I had the wrong item in my cart, but happily I noticed it prior to ordering. In summary, a very satisfactory purchase. I ordered from Amazon Prime, so shipping was quick. ... show more
