I just bought more of these. They are working out very well for where we have to use them. The only thing I wish is that weights were sewn in bottom, as they flare out on the bottoms and I prefer curtains to hang straight, as they do in the picture. But price is great, so inside mounts and panels pinned together for a Cafe style has solved the problem. (I did wash them to test that aspect and all went well) ... show more

I needed short thermal blackout curtains to block the intense Arizona sun that comes in my bathroom window at dawn, immediately turning it into a sauna. The bathroom oddly lacks an outlet for the air conditioner, so if I can keep it cool from the start of the day, it won't be as hot by the afternoon. I was pleased to be able to get the size and type of curtains I need, in a color I like, for a very low price. They arrived packaged nicely, without pressed in folds. Thanks to the grommets I was able to string the pair it onto a tension pole and install it in the bathroom window in about 10 minutes. The curtains I received (teal) almost totally blackout light, and greatly reduce heat. There is no plasticky lining and the curtains are teal on both sides. One thing I didn't think of is that the grommets let some light in. This isn't a big deal for me, but might bother you in a bedroom if the window faces your face. I recommend that buyers look carefully to make sure they are ordering the correct item. For the 24" length, you can get either one wider curtain (52") or two less-wide panels (42"). At first, I had the wrong item in my cart, but happily I noticed it prior to ordering. In summary, a very satisfactory purchase. I ordered from Amazon Prime, so shipping was quick. ... show more

I live in a travel trailer that has the typical RV accordion pleated vertical sliding blinds. As is typical, the cords are worn so some only move a few inches and the rest won't stay up on their own. I replaced the first one using these curtains in the cappuccino color. One panel is the perfect size for one bedroom window and the other panel will fit the other window. All I have to do is order another rod. I plan on replacing four other blinds of various sizes. I'm very pleased with this outcome.
