I bought these to keep Hummingbirds out of my porch ( I had one next to the porch to plug in the heat light that keeps it from freezing) bc one flew up into the skylight last year. I bought cheap magnetic screens last year to keep it from happening again bc the Hummingbirds rescue was not fun. They were ugly, but functional & were shredded by this summer. I saw these used for porches while looking for curtains for something else & loved the idea. The curtains make the sitting area on the porch very private, while still allowing you to see out. Far nicer than I anticipated but also more sheer than anticipated. Had to buy another couple packages to get the most aesthetically pleasing look and I'm not mad about it at all. AND when I realized I needed those additional pairs to complete the room and ordered them, they came only a FEW HOURS LATER! Perfection. For my screen room I used a shower curtain rod with a tension spring. Gather the sheers on the tension rod. Stretch out rod till it's the proper width of each of your screen panels. Then place the tightened rod from one side to other side at the top of the screen . It will hold the rod in place. No tools needed.
