These were exactly what I wanted, but I unfortunately I measured wrong and had to send them back. Returning was a breeze, and I had no issues. They were heavy and thick for a blackout effect. Durable for sure. They had fold creases in them, so they would have needed to be either washed or ironed, but since I didn't keep them, I obviously didn't do that. The size would have fine had I measured right, but the look, fabric, and color were exactly what I want. ... show more

I am so happy with these curtains! First, they had the 120" length I needed! Second, they were packaged/folded beautifully and the fabric was soft and smooth, nary a crease. The backs are the same color as the fronts, so no weird white or black liner on the street side. They are heavy enough to do the job but not too heavy. They drape beautifully. I don't have an actual thermometer to scientifically test if this cooled my room, but just from sitting there alone, I believe that it does help somewhat. The curtains have a nice weight to them, and the grommets for the curtain rod to go through appear to be well-made. My only gripe, and the reason this is receiving 4 stars instead of 5, is that light does somewhat permeate through the fabric. Yes, it blocks out MOST of the light, but the ambient glow from these still illuminate my room. Maybe I would have had a better result if I had chosen black colored blackout curtains, but we'll just have to see next time around. Overall, these are still very decent considering the price. I love these. I got them for my version window, I hated being in there at night knowing someone could see my shadow. I also keep my house pretty dark during the day to save on heating. These let zero light through. They are a silky material, and very pretty.
