I cannot get the wrinkles out of these curtains. They also have a very plastic backing. I wouldn’t recommend these curtains.

I bought these to replace the thermal curtains in a very sunny bedroom. When I first took them out of the packaging, I noticed a very strong odor, resembling wintergreen and mothballs. It was awful. I decided to try washing them in cool water, as directed. I then put them in the drier at low heat, removing them early to prevent overheating. They washed well and the odor totally disappeared. The panels were easy to hang and the tabs gave them a pleating effect. They are a good weight and definitely provide the insulation and light blocking that I needed. My only disappointment was with the bottom hem, which was only a scant 3/8 inch! Normally, panels like this have a 3 to 4 inch bottom hem - the extra weight in the bottom of the panel helps the panels hang right. Since these were longer than needed, I’m going to put in a 3” hem on my own. Otherwise, I would have returned them. ... show more
