First off, we got these because they hold up really well with our cat who tends to grab them when he falls out the window. The second reason we got them is because their thickness blocks both the heat and the cold. The third reason we got them is because the color is true to the photo and matches our floor. They block out light really well too and while they are heavy they aren’t so heavy that it weighs down the curtain rod. Got two colors blue and green both are gorgeous. Very good quality. Thick but soft. Light blocking. honestly better than I expected. Pictures are in poor lighting but the colors are really nice in person.

Great quality, especially considering the price tag. It came to $15 per 84 inch panel. The online photos and depiction are very accurate. That was something I was struggling with in ordering other curtains online. . The color is truly a dark toffee. It is a very deep brown color. The material is sheer and satin or silk like. It is not a regular fabric like material. I prefer curtains with a sheen to them as I think it makes them look dressier and shopping for curtains online it was hard to tell us. These are perfect in terms of the amount of sheen they have to them. Extremely easy to iron. it took me approximately 15 minutes per panel to iron. They are not 100% light blocking. As their website says they are 95% lite blocking. I would say that is very accurate. We get a great deal of direct sun in this room and it still works perfectly. I have now ordered three more packages of these to put in a another guest bedroom ... show more

Overall, great curtains. This set of curtains is one layer so it is not full blackout, but for Nicetown this price is a bargain. Even with it not being full blackout curtains, it does make a difference in blocking out light and I can sleep easy with them.

Hands down the best curtains I have bought. They are thick but not too heavy. I love that you can use the loops OR the sleeve when hanging them. The length is perfect and the color is true. They block out all light and helps with temperature as described. I live in Minnesota and it was pretty cold last week. My heat was set at 67 but my house wouldn't quite get passed 66. I hung my curtains and my living room warmed up after about an hour. I hope this does the same in the summer since I get the afternoon sun. I looked at hundreds of curtains (both online and in shops) until finally choosing these and am very happy. I live in a loft, so need very long curtains, at least 110 inches, but I ideally wanted 120 inches because I wanted them to cover the floor for the winter. The following are the characteristics I was looking for. I wanted some level of blackout (didn't have to be 100%) but without the double fabric - the curtain had to be just one layer of fabric. This is because the curtains needed to be very long, but since the hanging system I have is alligator clips, they couldn't be too heavy. In this sense, these curtains are perfect - one layer of fabric and not too heavy. I really only wanted enough blackout so that I could see my TV during the day and for that it's perfect. However, these curtains may not be blackout enough for people who want them in their bedroom. Some people complained that the curtains were very wrinkled. Mine weren't, so I had no issues with that. They did not smell. Some people said they faded. I can't comment on that yet, since I've only had them up to about three weeks. The fabric is "spongy" is the only way I can describe it, so I think it should be good at keeping some of the cold and draft away from the windows. Which is another characteristic I wanted. Our windows are very big and in the winter it gets cold sitting next to them. Overall conclusion: these are good quality curtains. The price was amazing (if I bought something in this length at a store, I would've had to pay this much for one panel, not two). I like the color and fabric. The functionality is perfect for what I was looking for. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality especially because of the price. ... show more

I'm over the moon with these, absolutely lying gorgeous color, VERY SOFT yet dust and cat hair resistant!! True black out curtains although I ordered extra wide curtains so they would have a lot of fabric to them. You can't see light through them at all. This window doesn’t receive direct sunlight in the morning, but the curtains do effectively block a lot of light as you can see. They are a little shiny since the fabric is cheap and definitely need to be steamed/ironed, but the pairs I received are thick, correctly sized, and well constructed. The burnt orange color isn’t a bright orange, but there’s less brown to it than you might expect. It’s more like pumpkin pie than fall leaves. ... show more
