I read so many reviews for these and finally decided to go for it after some comparison shopping. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They are INCREDIBLY soft with a satin like finish, and block out all light!! I live downtown so I get a lot of city lights from the street lamps and nearby businesses that stream into my LARGE 72” wide bedroom window at night. I need complete darkness to sleep and these did not disappoint!! I got two 80”W curtains in black (to match with the rest of the decor in my apartment) and am absolutely in love with them. Not only do they look amazing, high quality and are soft material, they also block out ALL light. When they said blackout, they absolutely meant it! The only light that gets through these is a tiny sliver from the very top since the curtain doesn’t touch the ceiling like my window does but that has nothing to do with the quality of the curtains and more about where I placed the curtain rod. My room at night at ABSOLUTELY BLACK. No light gets in through these and I love it! During the day, if I close the curtains the room is ALSO ABSOLUTELY BLACK! I can sleep just as well as if it was the middle of the night! I also have a dog with long fur that seems to love the feel of the fabric because she’s taken to rubbing against them occasionally and the fabric is so soft that her fur (which usually sticks to everything) brushes off with a simple swipe of my hand. I recommend these to anyone looking for black out curtains and I’m considering buying another set for my living room windows and balcony door. I’ve read reviews complaining about the wrinkles and figured if they were REALLY badly wrinkled I could pull out my steamer and iron them out, but I haven’t had any issues. They had a few fold lines here and there from being very neatly folded in the packaging (not compressed!) but I’ve had them hanging for about 4 days and most of the wrinkles have already disappeared. They’re also surprisingly light weight for blackout curtains. All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will be ordering these again if I need another set in the future! ... show more

Very satisfied with these. Pros and cons: PROs: In the first pic (drapes open) that is a full size sliding glass door. One ½ is covered by the drapes, the other ½ is open. And you can see how bright the room behind the curtains is. Yet no light is shining through. The 2nd pic is when the sun was streaming in under my outside awning and into the room. When closed, even in bright light, you can not see through them. The curtains are very soft. Weird for drapes, but very nice. Order 2x's what you think you need of you like them with nice pleating when closed. My sliding glass door is approximately 98". So I ordered one panel of 100" width and one panel of 52" width. I thought that would be enough to have them look nicely pleaded when closed. I was wrong I should have ordered two 100" widths. Stitching is nice, no excess threads I need to cut off and no loose or easy to pull out stitching. CONs: The hem on my 52" is off slightly. The right side just barley touches the floor as it should, the left side is approx ¾" off the floor. If you look really really hard you can see how it's angled upward. But again, you have to look really hard to see it! Plus I have a throw carpet in front of it, so no biggie. BUT it is still a flaw so worth mentioning. **BIG ISSUE** (At least for me) Make sure you get what you want... If you need to return them and want to shleep them all the way to a UPS store, its free returns. If you want to print a lable and take it to a UPS drop off (like Staples or CVS) or if you want it picked up, the cost is $7.99 Normally if you print out the lable and take it to a UPS drop off store it was still free return.
