UPDATE: I realize it's been quite some time since I recieved the replacement tool but it works great and did an excellent job on my extensions, so I gave it 2 more stars and I would definitely recommend! It's an inexpensive tool for heat fusion extensions and so much more..it's so expensive to go to the salon to have them put in so if you can do it yourself, then why not...Anyhow the one I received didn't seem to get very hot so a replacement has been sent and I'll try and remember to come back and update my review with more detail when it arrives soon...

works as advertised, gets appropriately hot and has all sorts of notches and shaping parts at the end so you can make various sorts of tips or apply them directly to hair, had a great little notch to make I tips! Easy to use. Made well over 200 I tips and still going strong.

I do my own fusions and this works well!!!! It's just the right amount of heat...not too much to cause damage to your hair and cool enough, to touch when twisting your hair extensions!

Gets hot very quickly and does its job well. I only use it for re-tipping, it's about the same size as my straightener so not the easiest to control around the head with the ends being exposed and very hot.
