My toddler is very into art and painting. I was looking for a large pack of canvas boards that weren’t too large. These are a great size. The width is thin and easy to display on a shelf or along the window sill. I’ll defin it’ll be buying more once she goes through this pack!

These canvases are great, especially for a novice or a beginner learning how to paint. The product itself is thin, but extremely sturdy and holds paint well. I love that the canvases came pretreated and ready to paint.

They appear to be slightly better quality than the ones I get at the dollar store, and for not much more per canvas. I'd say overall it's a good deal if you don't mind spending a few extra dollars, otherwise the ones that can be found at the dollar store will do just fine.

This 8X10 inch cardboard cotton canvas is a fine addition to the student artist collection. The product description states the canvas comes triple-primed in acrylic gesso. The canvases appeared barely primed. While not necessary, two more heavy coats of white acrylic gesso were applied to the canvas. The canvas was smooth without errors, dents, or lumps of the factory-applied gesso. The paint applied to the canvas was student acrylic paint. A variety of colors were used in the application of paint. A flat brush was used to paint the background, and detail brushes were used to paint the remainder. Water from a spray bottle was applied to the canvas to allow for the easy spreading of the base coat. The canvas was able to easily able to withstand the light misting of water. It dried quickly, and the remainder of the painting was then completed. The painting pictured was a quick paint, but this canvas would permit a more detailed painting with layers of paint applied to the canvas. Here, three layers of paint were applied to the canvas for the completed look. The canvases are a great addition to a student artist’s studio, providing an economical way to practice your skills.

I am not a professional artist so I can't speak to the quality in that sense but for the novice that wants basic canvas to work on these are great. I gave some to my toddler to make his masterpeices and they are the perfect size for him.
