First: I am a bedding snob. I travel for work and stay all over the country at beautiful hotels & I know EXACTLY the perfect conditions to a restful night sleep. I am a cotton-die-hard. I will not do poly-blend, microfiber, flannel, synthetic, alternative, anything. This is the second *set* of duvet covers from this brand we have gotten and both are fantastic. The terracotta is just the most recent addition to the collection. Quality: I highly recommend them for summer or winter duvets…. we live in MN so the seasonal-swap is essential. They’re light weight and don’t add much to the weight of the duvet but they’re soft and continue to get softer with wash/wear. Value for money: They also come with pillow cases which for the aesthetic alone is a big perk. The zippers are TINY, like I couldn’t find it to take the cover off and wash, which is great! No hardware jangling in bed or anything. They have ties for the comforters to keep them in place which is also great. They also tend to go on sale which is nice too. I love them. I got the terra-cotta Burnt orange and let me tell you, as a plant collector, the terra-cotta is the perfect color. I love the color of a brand new or wet terra cotta pot. It’s my favorite (see the pot on my head rest for color reference). The the same as shown on photo, lighting makes it look different. I would recommend getting this color if you often get natural lighting. Otherwise I would assume warm to white light colored bulbs would make it look bright orange according to the other reviews I’ve read. The color is rich, the ties help to keep in place however I wish my comforter can with a strap in the middle parts of all four sides so that I can strap it down better because it does move a lot but not as bad. That’s not this companies fault however they are very thoughtful to place straps on all four corners and on all four middle parts to secure your comforter much better. I really enjoy it. This duvet is not soft, it is kind of rough feeling but in the best way possible. It feels great on my skin, like a little massage, it feels luxurious. It does tend to wrinkle wherever the duvet is most loose. ... show more

I've had the hardest time finding a good burgundy or maroon cover. They always look so much lighter in person. This one however looks exactly like the picture, I love the color. I washed it and it didn't fade at all, even put a white sock in the wash with it just to see if I need to wash the cover separately from other clothes, and the sock came out perfectly white. My only qualm is that it collects more cat hair like nothing I've ever owned before. But that's the price I pay with dark bedding and long-haired cats, can't blame the product. ... show more

I am picky about bedding in general, and I really like this cover. The finish gives it a linen look but it’s soft. The lavender has a little more pink hue than what I expected but not enough to return. I was looking for a pop of color in an otherwise grey/white/navy scheme. Recommend it.

I'm overall really happy with this duvet cover and will be keeping it! It's one of those cases where I'm happy I paid a bit more than the dirt cheap option, and the quality actually shows (it's soft, not scratchy!). Terracotta color notes: I do see that the seller has made an effort to show what the "terracotta orange" color looks like in different lights, and while I appreciate that, it clearly wasn't *quite* adequate to prepare some customers (myself included) for the color that shows up on their doorstep. It's not even that I take issue with the color name--if you do a Google image search for terracotta orange, the top results will get you very close to this shade. However, the color I sampled directly from the product picture is more of a faded neutral earthy hue (see my color chart, Coolors calls it "Brown Sugar"), compared to the Thanksgiving tablecloth vibes that you get in person (Think: bronze, rustic pumpkin, burnt yams, harvest festival). Luckily, I can roll with the more vibrant color, and am happy to put this in my bedding rotation just in time for fall. :) ... show more

I wanted something simple, that was larger than the typical duvet in order to have full coverage.
