This mat is so worth the money. It replaced a worn memory foam mat and I love this one even more. We’ve gotten many compliments on the quality. Black shows dirt so I wish I had another color, but otherwise, this is absolutely perfect!

Bought as a gift for my son. It is comfy although I wish it were a bit wider. This mat 20"x48" replaces an old one that is much wider...24" but no longer functional. Not the same brand. My only other concern is the length..48" wish it was 60". The only other option was 72" which was too long for the space. We may order another for our home if it were wider. Our first shipment was lost and this was a replacement mat. After numerous calls to Amazon customer service (and 2 difficult calls to UPS who did not seem to care that we received someone elses order....UPS kept blaming Amazon) we finally received the mat after having to re-order the item. The original order we received instead of what we ordered as an American Girl doll and clothes. I spent nearly 2 hrs or more in phone calls to Amazon and UPS to get the item. I also had a very difficult time returning the wrong item. UPS did not seem to want to pick it up. I believe the problem was a UPS problem. The second order was shipped FedEx. This box was nearly open as it was shipped flat (can't bend item). Amazon shipping needs to add more tape and reinforce box. This may be what happened to my original order...it fell out of the box. I believe it was a UPS problem in the first place but Amazon shipping could have contributed as the second shipment also had was nearly ripped open. Not well packaged. We finally received the re-ordered mat a day before the birthday. Even with Amazon Prime this did not arrive arrive as promised. Which is why I only fave it 4 stars. ... show more

I've had this mat for several months now and I give this mat 4 stars because it does really help ease the tension in my lower back as I stand to do the dishes. I chose this particular model for it's smooth surface. I've had another gel mats prior to this one that is lighter in color (beige) with a basket weave pattern. Although that mat lasted quite a few years, it was hard to maintain (cleanliness) as dirt gets trapped into the "weave" of the mat. Since it was beige, it was very noticeable. So far, this mat is great with it's dark color to hide any dirt, it's real easy to clean with it's smooth surface. I bought two different sizes: a smaller one for the kitchen sink and a longer one to be placed near the stove. Since they are very cushioned, I had to get used to how thick they are on the edges especially when stepping off the mat. I didn't give this product 5 stars because I actually had to return it once for manufacturer defect as the first mat came with parts of the edges and the back missing. It was as if "chunks" were torn off of it. The condition of the second one was slightly better and I decided that there is no perfect mat. The edges weren't perfect but really not that bad. Again, so far, the quality of these mats are pretty decent. I do hope they last as long as my previous ones...if so, then I think it is worth the money. ... show more

This product is exactly as described and has not fallen apart in nearly 10 years of constant kitchen use. One of the best product purchases I've ever made on Amazon. NO planned obsolescence in the design. Newlife: please don't ever "update" the material engineering.

I ordered 2 of these mats in a 20” x 32” size and they arrived just yesterday, these are to replace my existing peeling mats made by a different manufacturer - those made it to the garbage today! The quality of these Gel Pro mats is excellent BUT the stone color looks nothing like the color in the online photos, it is much darker then the photo and much darker then what I wanted for my kitchen floor. The thought of having to repackage and get them sent back is not what I want, especially when you are up there in years. At this point, I’m not sure what I am going to do. Really disappointed in the coloring BUT very satisfied with quality and the fact that they are made in the USA. Maybe the darker color will grow on me. ... show more
