I bought this in king size. I have a standard-size bed, but it has a thick mattress and is far off the floor. I wanted it to hang nicely off the sides of the bed and it does. It does not reach the floor, but a nice distance off the floor. It is light weight and reversible.

I was looking for a king size quilt for my queen size pillow top mattress. I have blue walls and solid color throw pillows so I needed a pattern that was interesting but not too bold. This quilt is perfect. Was surprised by its softness and weight of the cotton - it will provide year round comfort. I was concerned that one review complained about the colors not being as vibrant as pictured - but they're just what I wanted! (A side bonus! This is a very pretty quilt and good quality for the price., many blues and greens in it. It is kind of stiff but holds a nice shape too on the bed. I bought a king size for an expanded queen bed and it was perfect size.
