    • Keys Come Off But Great Customer Service
I think this keyboard is great except for one major problem: the individual keys come off. I use this keyboard with a steering wheel desk in my work truck with and Ipad (not my choice). I will put in the middle beside me with the keys facing the seat when not in use. I've bought 2 now that have had individual keys come off leaving only the silicon bump to try and type. The lighting part works great (I sometimes work at night) and the battery life is great. I received a replacement from Artech who was great about fixing the problem, so I adjusted the rating to 5 stars. I'll come back if there's a problem with the new one. ... show more

    • Thin, lightweight, connects easily/Cons: bends easily, no keyboard shortcuts
I'm torn whether to keep this keyboard. Might send it back, might not. It's tiny, it fits in my tablet sleeve (with a case/cover on the tablet), so it fits in tight spaces very well. Pros: It's small, but still slightly larger than my tablet. Still short enough to fit into my tablet sleeve quite nicely. This switches between devices almost instantly. Easy to pair, easy to switch. Great for occasional use for your Roku or phone or on the go, perhaps. This is a VERY lightweight keyboard. Easy to charge, plugged it in as soon as it arrived, and was ready in an hour or so. Can't speak to durability, as I've switched back and forth between this and my usual keyboard (which requires batteries, and doesn't have a backlight - two reasons I got this particular keyboard - but it DOES let me "copy/paste" and doesn't run away when I type). Cons: - The keyboard is FLAT. Like, VERY flat. If you like that, great, but I like having my keyboard at a light angle, so the keys furthest from me are raised. Maybe that's a bygone issue from typewriter days, but it helps me immensely. If you're an index-finger typer, this could be perfect. My desk is slightly high for me, so my hands need to sit over the edge of the desk, otherwise the edge digs into my wrists. - I put a moderately thin (smaller than a pencil, slightly thicker than a USB cord) item to raise the keys further from me. The keyboard began BENDING in the middle (horizontally) while I typed. I put something else there (same thickness) that was softer, and it still bent each time I pressed a key. So, skinny, but bendy, even just by pressing the keys in a normal typing position. - I'm not sure if this is an iMac issue, but so far, I cannot "copy" or "paste" or use any of my usual shortcuts when writing or copying/pasting things from one area to another. If anyone can correct me on this, if there's a switch somewhere to indicate I'm about to use a shortcut, PLEASE let me know how. - The backlighting is actually not very bright. I have to turn off ALL of the lights in the room to see it. - The backlighting only stays on for 15 seconds at a time, and as far as I know, that can't be changed. If you watch YouTube, or stop to read e-mail, the lights are off before you can get back to it. My e-mails end up with lots of various spacebar marks, because the keyboard light disappears and I fumble around to find the spacebar (as opposed to "enter" or something that could change what I'm doing) to see it again. - The two little "index dots" that help your fingers orient your hands to the right positions (usually the F and J) are hard to distinguish. They're close to the edge of the keys, and not very raised. They're shorter than braille dots, and too close to the edge to distinguish if it even IS the edge or not without looking down. - The backspace button has an extra "backspace" button that actually deletes everything to the RIGHT of what you've typed, rather than the regular version which erases everything to the left of it, if that makes sense. I keep hitting this "forward delete" one instead of the "previous delete" version I'm used to. I've never used this function on any of my keyboards, but I've also never reached for the delete key and hit the "forward delete" by mistake. - The keyboard comes with these little "feet" to keep it from sliding around, and without them, it's REALLY slippery, but until I decide whether to keep it or not, I'm not going to add the feet just yet. The keyboard has "gotten away" a couple times, having to pull it back or put a potholder or thin silicone under it. - If I hold the edges of the keyboard in each hand (like a tablet) and turn one hand at an angle even slightly (and I mean VERY slightly), the whole keyboard twists. This isn't a "while using" issue, but more like a "they exchanged sturdiness and strength, for lightweight and thin" issue, whereas other mini keyboards I've used and adored had BOTH features. I'd be worried about it cracking if it fell, and "light as a feather" doesn't necessarily land like one. I've never had one that bends when I type ... show more

I don't know if it's me or the keyboard, but sometimes it skips letters or other things like that. I do like it and it connects well to my iPad. I haven't tried it with anything else. The backlight on the keys are nice.

This keyboard is wow! Frankly I didn't expect much from a low cost product from China but I have been pleasantly surprised. All I wanted was backlit keys, I got a lot more. While shopping I saw several which look a lot alike except for the brand name, almost as though they all came off the same assembly line then got different name tags. How to choose? I picked the one with the longest warranty; this one said two years and now that I have it in hand I can see why. The keys feel solid, give good tactile feedback, and are quiet. The spacing while compact works well even for my large hands. Bluetooth pairing is straightforward and switching is quick and easy, just tap one key. The seven lighting options vary from brightly visible to gently subtle. To top it off it's not all plastic, the back is metal, which not only suggests quality, but also it conveniently sticks to my tablet's magnetic case. No more slipping around on my lap desk. In short if you're looking for a compact backlit keyboard look no further, this one fills the bill and then some. ... show more
