If you screw anything into your lens (filters, tubes, adapter rings, whatever!), you will want a set of these. They are easy to use, effective, inexpensive. Excellent purchase!

The dipped vinyl coating cut easily and was not consistent at the bend towards the "handle", where it actually creates a bit of pressure and ended up marring a very stuck lens filter for my telescope. I'm guessing it was a thin area from the dipping process, but the other sizes worked fine and more suited for greasy fingers that can't remove a stuck screw on filter, but if just a tad too tight, these slipped. Many the time over the years have I had a filter that was stuck on a lens, or filters stuck to each other. Those occasions happen to all of us one time or another and when they do you need something that will grip the round surfaces without bending or scratching them. That's when a kit like this comes in handy. With its 4 pieces that can effectively surround 48 to 82mm lens thread filters you have the ability to turn those filters off your lenses or off of each other. The wrenches are rubber coated metal 3/4 rings with a slight matte finish that will grip filters tightly and allow you to unscrew even the most stuck of all filters. Because of the off-set handles these wrenches work just like any wrench in your toolbox giving you an effective torque force that far exceeds what you can get with your fingers, and with their metal interior they should resist snap breakage and last a long time. All in all, these wrenches seem to be a great addition to my camera toolkit and I highly recommend them to anyone else who uses filters on their lenses. This is a must have tool for those times when a filter is stuck to a lens or to another filter and, because of all I've said above, together with an attractive price, I rate them a strong 4 star product and suggest that anyone looking for this type of photographic tool keep this on their list of potential purchases.     • Great set of filter wrenches. Solid construction, great grip.
I have a pretty good-sized collection of modern and vintage lenses that occasionally need repairs and maintenance done on them. As such, I have a decent-sized collection of repair tools, including several other sets of lens filter wrenches. These are made of metal, with a good quality rubberized finish. With these, you're able to get a firm, solid grip on a smooth circular object, with good grip and contact along the entire circumference. A set of four filter wrenches in a useful range of sizes of this quality for around ~$20 is a very good deal. These are a welcome and useful addition to my lens toolbox, and they'll more than pay for themselves the first time they rescue a lens. ... show more
