I was wanting a thick flannel lining and a heavy vinyl cover. I should have known that at this price point, I wouldn’t get either. Description just says “flannel lining”. It is the world’s thinnest lining such that plates still make noise upon setting, and in use or cleaning, the cloth moves around. It has a small texture which I believe hinders good cleaning. The tablecloth was advertised as heavy weight flannel back. I was disappointed to see it is not heavy weight. It is very thin. The vinyl looks nice but it is flimsy.

Sadly, this is not a nice tablecloth and does not lay anything like the picture. I wanted a vinyl tablecloth for the spring and summer months that was easy care and this seemed like one I had many years ago. Instead, the flannel backing is extremely thin - I doubt this will even hold up through those summer months. I've had sturdier ones from Walmart that lasted just one season and cost 1/3 of this one. It was very wrinkled and I threw it in the dryer for a short time, which only made it worse. I will keep it but will never order another one after this has its potentially short life. Ordered Wed 2/28 and received Mon 3/4. Fit table perfectly and looked nice right out of the package. Several reviews stated the flannel backing was too thin so I compared it to a nice fitted vinyl tablecloth right out of the bag that I have loved and re-ordered many times over the years and the flannel thicknesses appeared the same. The vinyl, however, appeared thinner than the fitted one. That's probably why it layed so nicely and its flannel backing was very smooth. I also noticed its edge stitching and it was perfect. So I'm very satisfied! I'm sure it's going to be easy to clean. I can't yet comment on its durability which will also determine whether it's a good value for the money. ... show more
