My apartment has a massive, old claw foot tub. It's so big that the hot water runs out before a third of the tub is filled, and the cast iron almost immediately cools the water down. I tried an immersion heater, but it took about four hours to heat the whole tub and again, it was impossible to keep the water warm. Because the bottom of the tub is curved, I couldn't use the portable tubs with poles and the inflatable ones looked like more hassle than they were worth. This foldable tub is the perfect answer to my bath woes. I plopped it in, opened it up partially in a sort of oval shape so the bottom was a bit wrinkly, rinsed it and filled it about halfway and was finally able to soak in a hot bath for the first time in far too many years. I'm so pleased with this purchase. Will update with how cleaning and storing goes since mold is a bit of a concern when it's folded.

This is my fourth tub since our rental doesn't have a tub, but I love baths, especially in winter, and this one has been the best thus far. The first was a long inflatable, and that was a mess to fill, empty, take out, and put away after, all together just a pain. The second and third had metal poles up the sides to hold it up and an insert along the top, but both quickly developed holes and didn't last. When this one arrived, I knew it would be better because the construction of this portable tub is just more durable, and its been over a month and I love it. It is much easier to put up and take down than the others, summer storage will be easy, and its sturdy and well put together without being too heavy. Its easy to set up, to empty and only takes a few minutes to put away each evening. It fits perfectly in the base of our shower, so no mess. Highly recommend if you are in need of a tub and don't have the ability to add a permanent option to your home!

So, getting older - stiffer - more aches and pains. Never one for a tub in general, I found myself really missing the STEP IN Tub from mom's. I stumbled across this and thought why not! I love that it is light weight and easily folds up for storage! Just one caution: THE BOTTOM IS A BIT SLICK WHEN WET! Just be careful stepping in! I was close enough to the shower wall so my foot only moved a little. I've enjoyed a few Epsom salt soaks. The drain sits perfectly over the floor drain. I really appreciate that the plug is CLEAR so you can easily see through to check the position. (Mine is large with the drain offset.) I totally forgot about the secondary outlet being amused watching the whirlpool as it emptied - quickly! A light spray with a Melaleuca product for disinfecting - I let it sit propped up on the lip of the shower overnight to air dry before folding and tucking it away. Making sure it's dry to avoid mold/mildew appears to be the biggest hurdle. The INSTRUCTIONS for first use: a short period of time with less water. I didn't notice much odor so after a quick spray down and rinse it was ready to go! SO CONVENIENT! It holds the water temp for my 20–30-minute soaks. I let the shower head hang down in the tub to fill with the temp a little higher to compensate for the fill time and cold tile floor underneath it. At 5'7" - I can comfortably sit cross legged or with knees bent and still have water up to my neck and lean back against the shower wall. The inflatable 'pillow': short story - they can keep it. Rather large 'valve' for filling a small pillow. It doesn't have a check valve to keep the air inside long enough to get the cover snapped on if you want a fairly tight inflation in it.

I am something of an afficianado when it comes to portable tubs, so I know whereof I speak. This is something brand new---a new design that seems obvious in retrospect but which never occurred to me before I saw it. UPDATE: While the design is innovative it began leaking within a week at the seams. Not sturdy enough to actually be portable.

A lot of water got stuck inside the bottom, not sure how that happened there seem to be another layer inside. Can’t drain the water inside very annoying Other than that it’s been a life saver for winter
