Overall I like this backdrop stand. Sturdy anodized steel tubing, very compact and portable when disassembled, but makes for a large, versatile backdrop frame when assembled. A clever design where you set an extension dimension then twist to lock it in. After you build it once, you can toss the assembly instructions. Every piece is clearly and discreetly labelled and it is easy to remember what goes where with how they are labelled. My only point of confusion the first time I assembled it is that the 3 existing rubber feet must be removed in order to add the ‘B’ extenders to each tripod leg. This also means that you have the option for a shorter tripod or a taller tripod. As the others have mentioned, this needs guywires or weight-anchoring if used outdoors. The carry case itself has some minor design flaws, but nothing that’s a deal-killer Comes with 4 (annoying) plastic spring clips. Not my favorite type of clip but the manufacturer is nice to include something that will work out of the box with this stand.

This stand is easy to assemble and is a great addition to a photographers accessory kit. I find this to be fairly stable, but did not come with any sand bag holders, so I recommend getting something to weight the legs for a more secure setup and prevent any easy toppling over. This kit comes the clamps to secure a backdrop and holds the fabric tight. I am happy with this order and would consider this again.

I still have to find a green screen to go with this. It does not come with one so be aware of that. I knew it did not…but some people might miss that part so I wanted to be sure to mention it. Otherwise, this whole kit fits neatly in a carrying case and you can easily take this wherever you need it. I really don’t need the case. Once I get my green screen this will go up in my office and likely never come down. But it would be handy for anyone who needs to use this at multiple locations. Very easy to put together and it even already came with he clips to hold the green screen to the bar.

I was really happy about this setup for a shoot, but it turned out to be 4ft max! Followed all instructions perfectly, and it did not budge. While setting up, one of the tripod tightening chann just popped out of the pole. First time setup!

This product assembles together with cheap plastic screw pieces that stripped the first time I put them together and one side of the frame would not stay extended. Returned.

I am a photographer, but when I came across this product, I must admit, I had other intentions in mind. I've been looking for a nice stand to hold a projector screen for some time, and this was perfect for what I needed! The kit comes in a multi compartment bag that roll folds easily and is held together with strong velcro. The pieces fit together nicely and are clearly marked for proper placement. The whole unit is adjustable depending on the type of backdrop you are using, just as in the description. Once fitted together, the whole unit is pretty sturdy, however I would worry about using it outside on a windy day due to its light weight. There are 4 strong clamps included for attaching a backdrop to the unit. Overall, this is a pretty good deal for a portrait photographer on the go. The broken down stand takes up very little room and can be assembled in a matter of minutes without using any tools.

Very happy with this backdrop stand! Great quality and perfect height at up to 10feet! I am a photographer and I really needed a backdrop that was taller than 6" to accomodate my clients whom are taller! This 10feet drop works perfect and I don't have to worry about adjusting myself or the client to not cut off the top of their heads standing! This gives the space I need! Quality is great and easy to assemble! Very happy with this stand!
