  • Better and cheaper than a carburetor kit.
Carburetor was a perfect match. I even used my old slide and choke cable. Bike started first kick and runs better than the stock carburetor.

  • Great cheap alternative to keep my 2003 TTR125 running great!
This is my 3rd replacement carb over the last 12 years on my 2003 TTR125. For a ranch bike it gets abused pretty good, so I consider it normal wear and tear to replace the carb every so often. This carb works great out of the box. I'm at sea level so there are no adjustments/jetting changes were needed after installation. The stock vent hose setup is not used in the same manner, so the other two fittings (other than the fuel inlet and bowl overflow) are simply vent tubes, connect and run the provided hoses down along the frame in front of the swing arm for a clean look. Ensure the air intake nipple on the head side of the carb connection boot is also capped off as well or it will backfire and do crazy stuff. After install, no choke is needed and starts first kick. Keep clean relatively new fuel in the tank, and shut off the fuel line when not in use. Do all your routine maintenance and this will last a long time. ... show more

  • PERFECT replacement for 2000 TTR-125
I recently picked up a 2000 yamaha TTR-125, and after diagnosing why it was not running I found that the carb was fouled beyond rebuilding/repair (someone ran 2 stroke gas through a 4 stroke bike, probably several tanks worth). Long story short, I saw this reproduction carb and read some of the reviews. I figured for less than $30, it was worth the risk. I pulled the old carb off, slapped this bad boy on, and had the bike turn over on less than 5 kicks (after the gas actually got to the carb). I had to adjust the idle screw, but that is a standard expectation for any non EFI engine. Now on a warm day, it takes a single kick to get the bike running. I cannot speak to newer TTRs, but if you have an older one like my 2000, this carb works flawlessly, and did NOT require any modifications to install. ... show more

  • Poor Casting/Finishing Quality
Read all the positive reviews and figured I'd give it a shot for half the cost of oem rebuild parts. Unfortunately mine had poor quality castings or the finishing work wasn't completed. Ran super rich - figured out the choke plunger couldn't seat all the way due to flashing on one of the ports. Got that cleared out and the plunger sitting flush, then it ran super lean at 1/4 throttle with proper jetting. Couldn't get that lean spot to go away even with swapping needle from original carb. Gave up on it and rebuilt the oem carb (needle&seat, all gaskets and diaphragm). Spent three times as much in the end, but back up and running well. ... show more

  • Drips fuel out of float bowl over flow
Bike fired right up! Ran and rode great but the over flow for the float bowl dumps gas out. Have pulled it apart yet to see what’s making it stick.

  • Works with Keihin jets and needles
The stock carb on my TTR125L sucked. This item I would give the finish an 8/10 but the bike fired right up. I ended up replacing the jets and the needle with Keihin parts because I am in the mountains the what came on it was not the right jetting for me. Bike shops suck and don't have the big box of jets like they used to so I am only 95% jetted correctly until I source some smaller jets. The bike runs great even jetted slightly off, most people who ride the bike don't notice. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for my 2005 yamaha ttr 125
The media could not be loaded. Literally fired up first kick and never had to make any adjustments for idle or fuel mixture. Perfect fit for my son's yamaha ttr 125 that we are rebuilding over the winter so that he can learn clutch this coming spring. Cheap bike = cheap carberator I'll be honest I figured I would have to jet it or do some kind of tuning but I was blown away when it fired up first kick and ran well! I live in Pennsylvania so you may need to jet it based on where you live and this is a stock bike with a stock air box and stock exhaust. ... show more

  • I’m very happy with this carburetor!
I’m very happy with this carburetor! I purchased it for our 2002 TTR125L, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. The bike starts up on the first kick every time, and all I had to do was install it—no tuning or adjustments needed. It’s truly plug-and-play!
