I order the 34x30 pants being that I'm a 33x30. I went up one size because I like the loose fit. Tried them on and they are nut huggers. Too tight for me. The protective pads are thinner then croc shoe material. Don't see how this will protect you from a spill. I guess it would be good for a bicycle rider but not a street bike.. I can't attest to if these will last or if they are abrasion resistant. But the fit was good. The material seemed heavy duty for riding. First was that this fitted really well around the buttocks but the waist was only a little bit smaller making the pants dropping down. I don't like wearing a belt while riding a sports bike. Second, the zipper is poor quality. The zipper gets stuck halfway up and is very cheaply made. Lastly, the heavy duty material is very rough like canvass. This would literally rub me wrong on long rides or if you like to move alot in the twisties. ... show more

I like these way more than the more expensive brand I have. The belt loop spacing, the cargo pockets latch and the knee pads install better than the brand I have that were triple the cost of these.

FINALLY! A sturdy pair of pants that don't break the bank or dive head first into the skinny jean thing. I like these WAY more than my pricier, less comfy Winx riding pants. These guys look better, have plenty of space for armor, have actual pockets plus, of course, the cargo pockets. Fit is spot on. I have an athletic build and skinny jeans are not the biz. Easy to move in, weather resistant - i did some yard work in them and didn't notice i had a leak in my garden hose that was just spraying all over my legs until much later. If they make a winter version of these with fleece lining, I'm buying TWO PAIRS for EACH season ... show more

Bought these with another brand of similar black cargo riding pants to have something to wear to work that pass as business casual while affording some protection. These didn't come with the internal knee/shin padding of the other ones I bought, but were far more comfortable in the GA summer heat. The fabric is more denim-ish than khaki, somewhat stiff, but the fit was good and just as advertised. No problems bending, twisting, etc. Aramid lining is not as thorough in coverage as the other pair I bought but these were cheaper. Protection is butt, outside of thighs, knees. There are velcro enclosures on the knee where you could add some padded inserts (not included). Build quality is good and they serve the purpose I wanted them for - riding protection I could wear to the office without looking out of place. Good value for the money. ... show more
