After enjoying V 1 and V 2, I appreciate that the harder bottom on this latest version doesn't wear as fast, but it is much more slippery when running on a wet surface. Also, it seems like the shoe got narrower and provides less support than V 1 and V 2. On the plus side, the laces are cloth material, instead of nylon, and don't slip out of the knot mid-run like V 1 and V 2 did. I guess, overall, I'm a little disappointed.

Perfect out of the box! New Balance has been my favorite for many years. These are lightweight, breathable, comfortable and low key stylish. I was looking for a black pair which I don't usually like because the shoes are either solid black or black and white. The metallic peach softens the black and they look and feel great. The only drawback..why do they label "fresh foam" towards the heel of the shoe. I'd prefer it without that and I'm not a fan of labels and such. Otherwise get yourself a pair!!

I am a new balance addict and honestly I am SO disappointed with these. I returned them to buy a much better pair of shoes. These have zero support and do not feel comfortable at all. The shoe insert is flimsy and offers zero arch support. I know new balance is much better than this shoe reflects. Do not buy these!!!

I love these shoes. I never buy shoes without trying them on but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I have arthritis on the top of my foot, and fallen arches.. I can wear these wide shoes with my orthotics. They are light on the feet and feel good. I would recommend these shoes for anyone who has a wide foot.

I bought these because they are listed as a slip resistant model on Shoes For Crews and although they are identical in model name and appearance, they are *not* slip resistant at all. I have a hard time believing a mainstream brand would have two different versions of a shoe with the same exact model name so someone isn’t being honest and I’m going to contact the maker and file a complaint with the better business bureau when I find out who it is. I’m not the only one who has purchased these here for the same reason, so people need to be aware. Do not buy these for work they are dangerous.

This is my second pair of New Balance Arishis and I love them. They are a bit painful to break in, very stiff and hurt my arches the first few miles but once they are thoroughly broken in they are a dream! Lightweight, good support, mesh top is great for swelling feet during workouts. Love the colors!

Feels like I'm walking on stilts. The sole and the heel are way to narrow to call these shoes 4E (x-wide) shoes. The shoe does not have a wide fit, just a wide toe box. My paddle-footed friends should look into Dunham, Rockport, or NewBalance 6E sizes.

I bought these for the kitchen because after reading up on their website I was under the impression that this was a comfortable, breathable, and stylish slip resistant shoe. It is all of those things except one... These are great shoes for the price if you plan on walking a lot on trails or running and they deserve more than 3 stars except I specifically ordered them for my kitchen job as I have enough workout shoes. Suffice it to say, I am disappointed knowing they will scarcely be worn.
