I'm usually a size 8 and ordered a size 8. It felt a bit snug at first but after some wear it broke in and now fits ok. For this particular style, I think going up half a size could have worked. I typically buy wide shoes, but I have heard that regular New Balance shoes run a bit wide anyways, so I didn't buy the wide with these, and they do feel a bit loose, but that just makes them very comfortable and enjoyable to wear.

I thought these were fake because they are not made in US. New Balance doesn't mention on their website they make shoes in Indonesia too. Not sure about the company. When it comes to the shoe itself it is very well made and comfortable. The big plus is the big toe protection which will make the shoes last longer.
