If you have foot troubles already, you may not be able to wear these. I wear the leather New Balance and was looking for a lighter weight. After a couple of hours I took these off and gave them to Goodwill. My foot hurt for the rest of the day. Not a good orthopedic shoe, but they never claimed to be.
