First let me say I love NB, I started wearing their shoes in 1998 and haven’t worn another brand of athletic shoe since. About four years ago I up my running gaming because I am not a spring chicken and need more cushion for my knees and I bought the 1080s great great shoe…for running, if you are a big guy like me they don’t work well for everyday wear because they don’t provide the stability and anytime a made a quick pivot it felt like I was wearing a flip flop. I still use the 1080 for running but I needed more for everything else, NB heard my prayer and I swear they created the NB TRNR just for me and and in my opinion it IS the best shoe they ever made, fit like a runner, stability like a basketball shoe. Perfect for ever day wearing and training and this is coming from a big guy (6-3 260lbs). I tortured those things for two years (2nd 2 pics) but they are now relegated to the yard shoes. I bought the latest editions at the end of January, the tears you see in those shoes(1st 2 pics) was after 3 weeks of walking in the morning to break them in and two days on a Disney Vacation. NB I know you lowered the price on the TRNR I didn’t realize you had lowered the Quality even more than the price. I hope you can remedy this because this is the poorest quality shoe you have ever made and I hope this isn’t a vision of the future for NB shoes.

I typically wear running shoes for the cushion and comfort they provide. These shoes are nowhere near as bulky as them. They have a comfort rating on par with the running shoes but, at about half the price. Versatility: 10 (you can work out in these too) Quality: 10 I’ve never had a dud New Balance Sole: 10 comfort is there - not thick as a runner Support: 8 sufficient for office use, walking and workouts - would not use them for serious running

Absolute garbage. I needed shoes quickly and got these. They look nice but within 45 days they started to rip on both shoes, 2 spots on each shoe. It's sad really because I wore them lightly (no running, hiking... Very little outdoor use tbh). I hope I am contacted for a discount on another pair or comped completely because I will NEVER buy NB again otherwise. ✌️

Shoes are less than 6 months old, only wore a couple times a week. Side by little toe blew out on both shoes. I don’t have a wide foot so this should not have happened. I have worn New Balance for several years and very disappointed in their quality.

I got these to leave at work. I wear boots because I ride my bike most days. Wearing boots all the time eventually take a toll on your feet. I wear the boots to work, and home. I wear these all day. My feet are thanking me. These seem like they'll hold up well, I work inside, and they are really comfortable. I'd buy them again.

Wanted to love these. They are super comfortable, fit perfectly, and looked cool enough for me. But after a week of pretty casual, non-abusive wear, my big toes started tearing through the mesh on both feet. Same thing happened with my pinky toes on a different pair of NBs. I love the NB brand, but will only buy versions with some sort of reinforcing at the toe from now on.
