First let me say I love NB, I started wearing their shoes in 1998 and haven’t worn another brand of athletic shoe since. About four years ago I up my running gaming because I am not a spring chicken and need more cushion for my knees and I bought the 1080s great great shoe…for running, if you are a big guy like me they don’t work well for everyday wear because they don’t provide the stability and anytime a made a quick pivot it felt like I was wearing a flip flop. I still use the 1080 for running but I needed more for everything else, NB heard my prayer and I swear they created the NB TRNR just for me and and in my opinion it IS the best shoe they ever made, fit like a runner, stability like a basketball shoe. Perfect for ever day wearing and training and this is coming from a big guy (6-3 260lbs). I tortured those things for two years (2nd 2 pics) but they are now relegated to the yard shoes. I bought the latest editions at the end of January, the tears you see in those shoes(1st 2 pics) was after 3 weeks of walking in the morning to break them in and two days on a Disney Vacation. NB I know you lowered the price on the TRNR I didn’t realize you had lowered the Quality even more than the price. I hope you can remedy this because this is the poorest quality shoe you have ever made and I hope this isn’t a vision of the future for NB shoes. ... show more

These do not last long. I've got holes worn through on both feet where the plastic toe guard cuts through the fabric easily. They are comfortable and look nice. Wish they had lasted.

I bought these sneakers for my son because he loves New Balance They were a very nice looking sneaker, however, they were delivered on 2/24/24 and they are in the garbage now. Both shoes had holes on both sides and the holes started about a month ago so they lasted about 1 month. I see all the other reviews saying the sneakers fell apart as well. Never had this problem with New Balance sneakers before. It has to be a manufacturing issue with this style and they were $67 New Balance owes customers that bought this pair of sneakers a refund. My son just got a new pair delivered today and they definitely were not New Balance brand. Dont waste your money on this pair of sneakers. Trust me you will regret it and waste your money It’s not Amazons fault. The problem lies with New Balance They are going to lose many faithful customers if their quality continues to downgrade. ... show more

Light weight. Supple. I retired my former go-to trainers. High marks for on breathability scale but fail on water repelling . But that’s the bane of all cloth-topped shoes. The soles do not grab small stones and bring them in the house.
