I upgraded to the Scribe Colorsoft (2025) and knew that I was already in it a lot of money. I didn't want to be cheap on the case either and wanted to go to the leather case. It's like the feel of the leather because it's a little softer and less rigid than synthetics. I wish there was more color options but it's not a dealbreaker. The Scribe is already light and so it doesn't add too much more weight despite the leather and magnets. The quality is good and it's to be expected from an Amazon flagship Kindle device. My only comparison has been my years of use with the iPad Pro and the keyboard case from Apple. This is a fraction of the cost compared to an overpriced Apple keyboard case. Not to mention than the iPad Pros are so light now and the case more than doubles it. For me, I love the simplicity of an e-ink display for note taking and reading. My favorite part about this case are the two ways to prop it up. I can have a slight incline on my desk or in my lap or I can flip it around and have it more upright. So when I'm giving a presentation, I like the upright version so I can see all my notes right there, alongside my slide deck (I'm a professor). Great purchase to compliment my great purchase.

The case overall is a quality product. The magnets are stronger than the prior generation, and the overall finish feels nice, albeit a bit slippery to the touch. The price is high for what you are getting, but that isn't my main gripe. The issue is the embossed Amazon logo front and center on the case. It gives it an overall cheap look, and as someone who uses the Scribe in a professional work environment, it diminishes the overall high quality of the Kindle Scribe. I would much prefer no branding at all, or just a small logo in the bottom corner similar to the one on the Scribe itself. For the price you are paying, the case should look like a professional product.

Highly recommend, quality product from Amazon as usual. Side note, the 2nd gen scribe stylus does work with the new Colorsoft and fits well in the pen holder loop.

The material doesn't feel or look like it's leather. I am not a big fan of the placement of storing the pen. It leaves it vulnerable to damage. I feel this could have been better designed.

This is a nice case. It looks great and feels luxurious. However, when the cover is folded back into a stand the magnets interfere with the EMR stylus in the regions where those magnets attach. I want to reach out to Amazon and see if this is an issue specific to my case, or if it is a general design flaw. For $120.00 a case made by Amazon should NOT have this issue like some aftermarket cases do.
