I love my kindle scribe and run through normal tips rather quickly. These have solved that problem and are easy to get used to (yes they do feel different, as they are not soft). They glide smoothly over the screen and I have had no issues with scratching nor ghost lines. They are very much compatible and fit perfectly with the kindle scribe premium pen. Would buy again but it looks like hopefully I won’t need to! Great alternative pen tips for longevity.

So if you're like me you've been looking at purchasing metal nibs for your pencil but have been apprehensive because there aren't many reviews telling you it's okay. Well I'm here to say it is totally fine. I use this nib on my premium kindle pencil for my scribe and it works great. Installation is easy and fast. I did use it on the scribe without a screen protector and it doesn't leave scratches however just to be safe I did purchase a matte screen protector simply because I throw my scribe in my purse alot. It does take a few times of use to adjust your hand pressure. Start out soft and work your way up to the pressure you feel comfortable with while writing so keep that in mind. I did not notice any offset in tip to screen. The writing quality in my opinion improved greatly over the use of the plastic nibs. It's durable and I don't forsee needing to replace it for quite some time if ever. I did notice the screen shadow happens more often but in the video I show that flipping to a new page and then back will eliminate the shadows So if you were looking for the review to encourage you to switch but you were apprehensive due to it being metal then this review is for you. Hope this helps someone :)

I ordered these as replacement for the original tips. I loved the idea of a different color tip than the traditional. They arrived and I am pleased to announce they are the color as advertised. You get two tips and a tip removal. I had no issue with installation. They come in a case to prevent you from losing the additional tip that came in the packet. It seems to be a great value for the money if they last like they are advertised. They glide smoothly across the page it almost feels more like a pen instead of a pencil writing but I still like the feeling of it. They functioned as advertised and the material of the tip is perfectly fine. I had no issues with the magnetic strength when writing.

After only a few months of light use, the original pen tip that came with my Scribe was starting to break down, so I looked at the options and went with these titanium replacement tips. I'm very happy with them. I've been using them for about a month now and enjoy the look and, more importantly, the feel of them when writing. They have a smoother presence on the Scribe. Some reviewers mentioned a fear of scratching the Scribe surface, but I have had no issues. I don't press hard when I write, so that may help. Perhaps someone more heavy handed when writing would benefit form having a screen protector, but I don't see the need. The tips do come in packaging that warns against using them without a screen protector. They fit the stylus great and seem like they'll last forever.

This product was bought for both my standard and pro pen for the Kindle Scribe, and I have had no issues with either pen after purchasing it. I love my Scribe, but the plastic tips wear out very quickly. I was concerned that the metal tips would cause scratches to the screen or not feel as good as the plastic. I have not noticed any scratches through normal use for several months. Pros: It lasts forever. After several months of consistent use, I have not noticed any wear to the tips. With the plastic, I would have had to replace it several times. It does not scratch the screen. Through normal use (not pressing down crazy hard) you will not scratch your screen. Cons: It seems overpriced for such a small piece of metal. I know that the parts have to be precisely made to avoid scratches, but the price still seems higher than it needs to be. ($16.99 was my purchase price.) The tip does not write as well as the plastic. This is more of an opinion, but I like how the plastic wrote better. The plastic would also seem to be closer to the Kindle which made the writing more natural. However, this is a tradeoff that is still worth me moving to metal tips. Overall, this product is a 4 out of 5. It would be a higher rating if the price was lower but overall, it is a great product. I recommend this to anyone looking to reduce the frequency of tip replacements.

I have had my Kindle Scribe Colorsoft since Feb 1st. I have gone threw 3 tips. The first was got flat. The second bent when it fell off the table. These tips are great. Better than the OG. They write better. They hold up better. Best swap ever.

Update: it’s been years and I haven’t had to replace this nib. It still writes beautifully. The only issue that I’ve had is it will start drifting but all I had to do was reseat it and it went back to working great. I’ve been using these tips for about a year and I’ve enjoyed using them. They’ve worked with no issues for me. I have a paper like screen cover on and haven’t had any scratches on my screen. I use my scribe daily to do crossword puzzles and they work great. They fit into the pen perfectly and are easy to remove if needed. I haven’t had to change the one that I’ve put in yet so the quality is great.

This product initially was great. It doesn't wear out, but the titanium tip will and did eventually stretch and bend the opening to my aAmazon pen. The tip fell out and got lost. I replaced the tip and the pen stopped working unless I press down really hard. It's really hard getting another amazon pen. I eventually bought another less expensive brand that is working well. Stick to the rubber tips to reduce the ear and tear on these e-ink pans.
